Scarlett's POV

"What, darling." I try again in an attempt to get her to say it again. But it is no use as she has now fallen into a deep slumber. I don't know if she said it because she truly means it or if it slipped out because she is so tired.

"She called me mom." I smile at Colin when I join him in the living room again. "She did? That's great Scar." He kisses me.

About an hour later I and Colin decide it is best if we go to bed as well. We both have a busy day ahead of us.

The next morning I wake up to an alarm on the table that is beside the bed that I and Colin share.

"Morning." I groan, my voice still raspy. "Morning," Colin tells me. I can't believe that I get to wake up next to him. He has been nothing but a joy and I love that he accepted Y/N coming into our lives without hesitation. We have both started to love her as if she has been with us her whole life. I get up and get ready for the day, I have a busy day at the office and Colin has to go to work. With everything that has been going on, I really don't want to leave Y/N alone on her first day back here but I can't reschedule today, since I will be leaving to film soon and need to get some important things done at the company first.

After getting some breakfast ready for everyone I go to wake up Rose, who of course is already awake and getting herself ready. It is so great that she is able to do more things on her own as she gets older. I walk to the nursery to get Cosmo ready for the day.

"Aren't you a happy little boy this morning?" I coo to the 1-year-old. After putting him in his chair in the kitchen and getting Colin to keep an eye on him, I walk to the guestroom where Y/N is still fast asleep. Jet lag must be hitting her hard again. I lightly shake her and whisper for her to wake up. The only thing that happens is her turning around with a grumble before she continues sleeping. How is it so hard to wake up a teenager? I am used to kids that wake up the second you shake them, Rose is already awake half of the time when I get to her room to wake her up. I take the duvet off her, hoping that the cold air will wake her up. Again she reaches for the duvet, pulling it back over her while she groans.

"Y/N, can you wake up for me for a little bit? We need to discuss some things, you can sleep further after that." I say, it comes out of my mouth a little harsher than I intended. But it seems to work as she opens her eyes, an annoyed 'what' leaving her mouth.

"Darling, me and Colin will be at work today and the kids will be with my mom. What do you want to do?" All of a sudden she is somehow wide awake.

"What do I want to do? Does that mean I can come with you to the Outset?" she asks me, her eyes lighting up at the possibility of getting to spend the day at the office.

"Yeah, I guess. Unless you want to be here alone." I question her.

"Are you crazy? Why would I stay here alone, although that would be awesome when I can come to the iconic office." She almost screams. As she jumps out of bed and rummages through her suitcase to find something to wear. Almost tripping on her way into the bathroom

"Darling, can you slow down a little bit? I know that you are excited since you love that place. But I don't need you to end up at the ER because you slipped. I leave in an hour." I hear her mutter a yes as she closes the door. I'm glad that she likes coming to work with me, although I am not so sure if it is to spend time with me or if it is just so that she can run around the office. She has been there once and she already loves that place more than I do and I have been there countless times.

Y/N's POV

I don't want to wake up but as soon as the possibility arises to join Scarlett at the office I am wide awake. I get ready as quickly as I can and eat the pancakes that have been placed on the island in the kitchen, inhaling them as I can't wait any longer to leave to spend my day with Scarlett at the office.
