Scarlett's POV

Y/n had worried me on the first night that we had been in Atlanta, by not coming home that night. I knew she was with Florence but I couldn't help but wonder if something had happened to her. She is, after all just a young girl that would have been out on the streets late at night.

I couldn't sleep all night and in the morning when she still wasn't home and she wasn't responding to my calls I decided that my best shot is Florence.

I drive to Florence's place and when I arrive I knock on the door, my heart beating out of my chest and letting my tears run wild.

After a little bit, a sleepy Florence opens the door asking me what is wrong.

"It's Y/N, she didn't come home last night and last I know she was here with you." I ramble.

The relief I feel when she walks out into the hallway and explains what happens is incredible. My oldest hadn't been killed on the way home by a creep. I trust her to be safe but you never know.

When Florence offers breakfast I gladly take her up on the offer. Both girls are acting a little weird, but I don't really think much about it. I let them have their secrets, secrets that friends are supposed to have from their parents.

After breakfast, Y/N and I go home and after a while, she asks me to drive her to the Apple store so she can get her phone repaired. It is actually great because I need to go by set to pick some stuff up and we can swing by the store on the way there.

When we get to the store she picks out a new phone. I know she can pay for it because of the money she got from Project Artemis. Still, I decide to pay for it, she is my little girl so I think I can spoil her from time to time. I quickly put my card through the machine when she goes to grab her own. Of course, I am met with resistance from her but the deed is already done.

We get to set and I leave her in the car since she doesn't have access to the set yet. I am going to try to get it for her, but I don't know how easy it will be. I am asking Kevin today and also a little favour from him.

I walk to Kevin's office. "Hey Kev, I am here to pick up those papers that you had for me and I have a request." I greet him.

"hey, Scar. What is it?" he says as he hands me the papers.

"So it is my daughter's birthday in about two weeks, she is a huge Marvel fan and I was wondering if you'd talk with her and answer her questions as a little early birthday present," I tell him.

"Of course, let me get started on the stuff to get her access to the set as well. I assume she will want to come with you from time to time.?"

"yes, thank you, Kev. You're the best." I say before leaving his office and going back to the car.

I quickly put the papers in my bag and am ambushed again by Y/N's question if Natasha is coming back. This is the thousandth time she has asked and I tell her that it is not happening. Honestly, I don't know. There have been talks about it but nothing has been set in stone. We all know how Marvel can be, keeping it super vague until they can not anymore.

When we get home I start on dinner, just before I finish my phone lights up and I see a comment from my lovely daughter on the latest Outset video that had just been posted by my team. I have access to the account but I am not the one who posts, I just occasionally film a video and sent it to them for editing and posting.

During dinner I have to ask her to turn off her phone sound because the dings drive me crazy, I do not understand how she can live with that thing going off all day long. She has become quite popular in the short time the world has known about her and me. People were doubting it at first but turned around really quickly and most of it is positive so I am really happy for her.
