Scarlett's POV

Having Y/N home again is amazing. I have really missed her being here. I know she was always a phone call away for most of the time but having her here in person is way better than that.

I leave her to be with my mom while I go prepare dinner for us and Colin later on tonight. I can hear their conversation and from what I can tell she is doing okay. I know she sometimes has a hard time talking about it, so hearing her talk about it that freely is nice to hear as a parent.

We hadn't really talked that much, but ever since her kind of falling apart at the start of the filming I had been worried about the pressures that come with this career. I have seen way too many people who have been crushed under the pressures. This industry is very harsh on a person's mental health and I just don't want her to get hurt.

But from what I can hear she is coping with it pretty okay. She seems better and I think she has something very fun on the schedule I just don't think she can tell any of us about it yet.

And then you are thinking, but Scarlett how do you know? Well, I know that sentence: 'Nothing too big and if there was I wouldn't be able to tell you anyway.' I have used it myself too many times. She is just under contract and legally cannot tell any of us yet.

I am a bit worried about her juggling university with this career. The career is hard as it is and she will be going to school. I know she is taking it a bit slower with acting but if she is anything like me she can't always say no to it. And we all know how it is, when that right project comes along you'll take it. No matter what.

We ate dinner together, Colin joining a bit later as he had some work to finish. She helps clean up and leaves to go upstairs to her room.

When Rose gets home from the party I go to her room to get her. Knowing that Rose will want to see her and she will want to see Rose.

When I open her door she is vast asleep. Splayed out over her bed, the covers partly on the ground, hair out of the bun she was wearing. I smile at her, looking so cute and rather chaotic as well as she sleeps. I swear it is the funniest thing ever, this girl can really sleep anywhere.

I softly knock on the door which wakes her up. And I can tell it takes her a little bit to recognise her surroundings. Clearly, it was a good nap.

I tell her Rose is downstairs and leave her to collect herself. Eventually, she makes her way downstairs getting practically tackled by her younger sibling.

They eventually go upstairs so Rose can go to bed and Y/N can tuck her in. Whenever she is here Rose makes sure she is the one to do it and not one of us. After a while, she comes downstairs, more so to tell us goodnight before going upstairs again and to sleep. Jet lag clearly hitting her like a stack of bricks. And from what I've heard about her weekend she hasn't had a lot of sleep during it or before that.

After a little while my mom leaves and both Colin and I also go upstairs to go to bed.

The next morning I get woken up by my alarm, today is an office day and I have a morning meeting that I have to attend. And I also have a meeting with Marvel today about a potential project. I haven't heard a lot about but I am sure that I will get to hear all about it today.

When I walk down the stairs I am met with the sweet smell of pancakes and bacon. I find my eldest at the stove, singing along to the music that is most likely playing in her headphones.

"Good morning, what a nice surprise," I tell her putting my chin on her shoulder, which makes her jump a little as she hadn't noticed me before that.

"Morning to you too." She says pulling her headphones off.
