Everyone rushed around, passing blankets and supplies around the medical centers.

"How is everyone recovering?" Sahir asked as he exited the tent.

"Everyone is doing just fine." Kasey smiled. "Thank you for helping us."

Sahir nodded and headed to the biggest tent. Penelope and the others were already there gathered around a bed.

"There's the hero again." Maverick smiled. "That's two times you saved something really important to me."

Sahir gave a small smile and nodded once. "Everyone should be completely better in a couple of days, but you all need to rest and avoid overexerting yourselves."

Maverick nodded. "I wish we could, but our numbers were cut again and we're defenseless."

John huffed and shook his head. "The community is in danger and we have two virtues stationed here."

"What?" Penelope gasped. "Why would you guys do that?"

"Because with the wolves they had protection, but now it's compromised and the virtues and the wolves are in danger." John continued.

"Who are the two here?" Penelope asked, tapping her foot.

"Humility and kindness." Laura sighed.

"Which are?" Penelope pushed.

"The opposite of pride and envy." Laura glared at her.

"And now Charity is here too," Una'Myus added.

"What about patience?" Sahir raised an eyebrow. "They're the only one unaccounted for."

"Oh, they ran away." John stretched. "We know where they are, and we keep our contact to a minimum, but we know they're safe."

"How?" Sahir squinted.

"They're with an Atalante." Laura smiled. "They got married and left, wanted out of this crazy mess."

"So now what?" Kori asked.

"You guys are going to school." Laura pushed herself off the wall. "Let's go, I'll give you guys a ride to the mansion, ya have an hour to get ready."

"What?" Kori sucked her teeth, turning away and exiting the room.

"Feel better Maverick." Sahir waved, following Kori to the car.

"We should go too." Lennox yawned.

Penelope rolled her eyes, looking down at her clothes still covered with dirt and grime. "I guess."

Laura and John pulled into the driveway to drop off the teens. They walked into the house and took a seat at the kitchen island.

Laura inhaled and yelled, "John Francesco Hernadez Jr."

Sahir and Kori looked at Laura then at each other and began heading towards the stairs. JJ passed them on the steps, sighing as he reached the bottom.

"Si mamá?" JJ frowned at his parents.

"What the hell was that yesterday?" Laura stood up.

"I was busy playing baseball with some friends and we accidentally broke a neighbor's window." JJ looked away from his mom.

"No mientas." John glared at the young boy.

"Why does it matter?" JJ raised his voice. "Don't you guys have something more important to do? Like, save the world."

"John," Laura said in a warning tone.

"No mom." the boy said, his voice cracking. "Si no puedo ayudar aquí, entonces ayudaré en otro lugar. You treat me like I'm useless and like I get in the way."
