Okay...I just rewatched Aladdin for the hundreth time and I got a Keefitz AU idea. I love Keefitz more than words can express btw. So Fitz is the prince of some random kingdom and Keefe is a thief (that rhymed) in the kingdom.

"SENCEN!" The guard yelled. Keefe rolled his eyes. Here we go again.

He started his normal route through the many shops and stores selling everything from jewelry to cheeseburgers to brooms to door handles.

Jumping on the roof of an apple cart, he waved to the guards below him, then hopped on to the top of an earrings stall.

Keefe snatched a little pair of green earrings with small silver stones from them then somersaulted off, landing on his feet like a cat.

He'd done this so many times before it was automatic.

He continued running, tossing over a cart full of lemons and knocking a crate of grapes onto the ground for distraction.

Caleb, the store owner, glared at him. "Get back here, boy!"

"Sorry, bro. Not today!" Keefe grinned, jumping smoothly over the fruit on the floor. He climbed back up a shop selling dresses.

He snagged a blue skirt that had crystals embedded on that would have been worth so much. Keefe slid down a pole connected to the walnut stall, and ran even faster to the next section of shops

He leaned on a counter. "Hey, Sophie." He winked.

The blonde girl running the animal sanctuary glared at him. "What do you want, Keefe?"

"Nothing, nothing!"

"Really?" Sophie raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, really!"

She waited, tapping her foot. "I haven't got all day."

"Okay, okay! I need to hide."

"Again?" Sophie groaned. "Keefe!"

"I know, I know. But I did steal something."

"What was it this time?"

Keefe held out three loaves of bread, a basket of fruit, a bag of dates, and the skirt.

She rolled her eyes. "A deal's a deal. Hand it over."

He dropped a loaf of bread and the green earrings in her arms. They had a deal. Keefe would come over when he needed to hide, she hid him, and he gave her some things.

It happened every day. She was basically his best and only friend. Other than Tam, who worked the bread shop and would sneak him stuff every so often.

"Fine. C'mon."

Sophie led him inside, walking over to the back storage room and letting him in. It said, Employees only, but nobody ever used it except for Sophie.

Keefe hid inside, shutting the door. He sighed, sitting down in the dark room.

"Excuse me? Is someone else here?" A boy's voice asked. His voice was accented lightly and kind of deep.

"Yes..." He dragged out the word as long as he possibly could.

"What? Who are you?"

"Keefe," Keefe answered. "Sophie's friend."

"Why are you hiding in a closet? And who's Sophie?"

"The daughter of the guy who owns this place. If you don't know her, why are you here? Are you trying to steal? And who are you?"
