dream watches as notification after notification pop up in the corner of his screen.

@george

@george

@george

"sap, he's probably asleep," dream says, trying to stop the ravenette from the consistent spamming.

"yeah well, he needs to stop sleeping so much," sapnap complains, and dream can hear the ravenette's chair creak as he leans back into it. he shifts his gaze to sapnap, watching him roll his eyes. "it's making him fucking boring."

dream laughs, shaking his head at the ravenette's little patience.

"fuck it," sapnap mumbles, sitting up and tucking his chair back in. dream hears a few clicks before looking over to sapnap's screen-share and seeing his game unpause. "i'm going back to valo."

"of course you are," dream scoffs, unsurprised by sapnap's predictability. he can't even remember why sapnap had wanted to talk to george, but he knew the ravenette would give up quickly.

"well what are you doing?" sapnap mumbles, clearly less focused on the conversation as he gets lost in his game.

"maths assignment," dream answers simply.

"jesus man, all my friends are fucking boring," sapnap complains, shaking his head.

dream laughs at the ravenette. he closes down the youtube tab he had open, since the video really wasn't helping him understand the equation.

the next tab open is instagram, and dream decides he's deserved a short break as he likes some random photo of a joint that quackity had posted.

he scrolls mindlessly for a few minutes, liking practically any post that comes up until he stumbles across a post from a body-building account he follows. he can't even remember following them - he supposes it was probably in summer last year during his spontaneous health kick.

the guy isn't even muscular like a bodybuilder, he just has a strong six-pack and some slightly above-average biceps.

dream scrolls past without liking it.

his build isn't that impressive, so he has no reason to like it.

dream scrolls through another two posts before that one comes back to mind.

he'd love to have a body like that.

he scrolls back up, simply out of envy, and looks at the picture once more.

"what are you doing now?" sapnap wonders, "you're doing a lot of clicking for a maths assignment that's on paper," he observes.
