Well, just because the 'I Found You' chapter is incomplete, *I swear the chapter was perfect when I published it-.- Today I checked, the chapter ended with and "I" on the very last paragraph. Am I right?* By the way, I named it 'Almost Died' when I published it, I wonder if someone had read the full chapter? I'm here again to rewrite, republish and make the last chapter complete. Jack POV
"Oh cheeses," Cupid said. "I need to refill my drink. Excuse me." She exited politely with a smile to both me and Jade. When she was out of my view Jade turned to me. I put the food at the empty space beside me.
"I didn't know-" I started to say.
"It was a long time ago, Jack." Jade interfered my talking.
"Yeah but, I think I shouldn't have gone all mean to him after he faced that. I feel... guilty."
"What are you guilty for? Its not your fault the human died and wasn't made immortal... She made a mistake after all." Jade explained as I bit my lip. Silence fell between us.
I have to admit, I was a bit jealous to know that Jade has better knowledge than me. Maybe she was born like that? She was a Princess, after all.
"What mistake?" The question popped out of my mouth in curiosity.
"Do you really want to know?" Jade leant back on the sofa. I hovered my body over her.
"Of course I do."
"Well, she first believed in the Guardians. But as she got older she salutes the darkness. She'd killed her mom... So..." Jade trailed off. My hand bumped agaisnt hers in encouragement for her to complete her sentence.
"I think the Man in Moon wanted her to be one of the elementors or somewhat. But when she decided to like the darkness and evil, Man in Moon's afraid that she'll misuse her forthcoming ability and become someone like Pitch." She shivered.
"Oh." Was all I could say. Jade sighed.
"I couldn't handle another Pitch Black." Jade strained lazily.
"Of course you dont," I pressed my lips to her forehead before pulling away from my position and putting the plate on my lap once again.
"Jack, may I-"
I held out the plate to her, offering.
"Food?"
Jade laughed. "Yes, thank you."
Our fingers entertwined as we both exchanged winks.
