Our tale begins with very special boy born with a darkness deep inside him, a darkness that brought him nothing but pain and misery.
This is the story of David and how he learnt to face the monster within.
A long time ago, a world different from the world you know, a world where kings and queens ruled over great nation, a world where great beasts and mystical creatures walked the earth, they lived a boy named David.
David was quite an extraordinary boy for you see he was born with incredible powers; he could control and manipulate the four elements, earth, fire, air and water.
As incredible as it was to have such an extraordinary power, David was also born with something else, something dark and twisted.
He called it his darkness and it was this darkness brought nothing but pain and misery.
This very darkness made him lose control and turn him in to a monster that destroys everything and anyone around him.
His darkness made him make the painful choice to be alone, far away from people, to protect them from the monster he became whenever his darkness took control.
So David roams the land alone and away from people.
David hated being alone immensely and would often wish he had someone to talk to but sadly the darkness deep within him denied him the pleasure of having even one friend.
One day, as David roamed the streets of a small village, he saw some children playing and wondered how it would have been if he could play with other children like the children he saw.
He smiles at the children, wondering if they understood how incredible their lives were as they had the luxury of friendship something he didn’t but desperately craved, before continuing his journey to a destination he knew nothing about.
After a while of walking David heard his stomach rumble out of hunger.
It had been days since he last ate and he was starving.
The scent of freshly baked bread from a nearby bakery made its way to David. David driven by hunger followed the scent to the bakery.
David had no money and could not buy anything but his hunger was too much for him to bear and so grabbed a small loaf of bread and ran as fast as he could. The baker upon seeing David run away with the loaf of bread chased after him.
“Thief, thief, thief” yelled the baker as he chased after David.
David tripped and fell down on the ground and the baker catches him.
“Please I am sorry, I didn’t want to steal but I haven’t eaten in days” said David scared of what the baker might do to him.
“Give me that, you thief” said the baker before he angrily took the loaf from David.
“Please, I am starving, I might soon die of hunger” said David begging the baker for loaf of bread.
“I see, you are not just a thief but also a filthy beggar said the bake as pushed David away causing to fall down to the ground.
David then began to feel his darkness slowly raise and trying to take over. David tried to hold it back but it was just too strong for him, he knew he didn’t have the strength to hold back his darkness as he just kept growing and growing.
“Please run” said David as he felt his darkness beginning to take control.
David closed his eyes and as he did so the ground around them began quaked and cracked open with flames erupting out of the cracks.
The baker upon seeing the flames became frightened, looked at David who’s eyes where still closed and then realized that David was no ordinary boy.
“You should have heeded my warning and ran away when you had the chance” said David with a deep voice that sounded like the roar a raging dragon before he opened up his eyes and revealed them to be violet dragon like eyes which horrifies the baker even more.
David then grabbed the baker by the neck and begins to crush it with a hard and powerful grip that just grew stronger and tighter which passing moment.
“Please, I can’t breathe” said the baker struggling to breath as David crushed his neck with his hard ice cold grip.
The baker slowly suffocated as David continued to crush his neck.
David then looked in to his eyes and saw horror and fear.
It was as if the baker was staring in the eyes death itself as he looked back at David. David seeing the fear in the baker’s was enough to bring David back to his sense and free him from the control of his darkness.
The ground stopped quaking and flames stopped erupting from the cracks on the ground.
David’s eyes then turned back to normal.
He then let go of the baker.
He walked up to the baker to apologize but the baker, after seeing what David could do was now immensely frighten and afraid of David.
The baker just ran away as fast as he could, before David could say anything to him.
David sighed deeply before looking down to notice the loaf of bread the baker dropped on the floor in his haste.
David who was still hungry picked up the loaf before turning to air and blowing away.
A man watching David from afar and saw everything he did to the baker smiled before saying “I finally found you after all these years of searching. Soon child, I shall unite you with my master and then Aribonus shall rise again”
