The Blood of The Dragon

Chapter 24

They all soon reached the gates of the Dragon Academy and then David and Flora used their powers to turn them and their friends in to air and blew away.

They all then reformed inside the academy.

“Good night guys” said David before they went back to their rooms.

David closed the door to his room as he entered.

He then began to think about what he saw in forest.

Who was that woman, and strange man with the dragon arm?Why did she tell him to find the locket? Those were questions David continuously asked himself, questions he had no answers to.

David then remembered what the woman said.

“The locket of the golden dragon warrior”

The golden Dragon warrior, the golden locket he was meant to find belonged to her.

David tried to his best to understand all of this meant; the golden locket that belonged to the golden dragon warrior, the cloaked woman and the man with the dragon arm David couldn’t think straight as his mind was now filled with so many questions he could not answers.

David needed to clear his mind from the millions of questions he had so he turned to air and blew away.

He reformed in front of the statue of the golden dragon warrior.

David stared at the statue and wondered what it would have been like if she still alive.

Victor had told him many stories about her, how brave, courageous and daring she was.

According to him she was ready and willing to sacrifice anything to protect those around her.

She was a person that chose to see the light inside of people and refused to see the darkness inside of them.

David smiled at the thought of what it might have been to meet someone like her.

He then began to wonder about what kind of connection they most share for him to be told to find her locket.

He looked at the golden locket on the statue’s neck and thought that that must be the locket he was meant to find.

He then sighed deeply before turning to air and blowing away.

Coming to the golden statue might have not answered any of his questions but at least it helped him calm his mind and silenced some of the many questions that bothered his mind.

He lied down on his bed and slowly drifted away to sleep unaware of the danger that was fast approaching.

The Joshua sat on the floor in his home meditating when burst of wind blew out of nowhere.

Cloud of darkness then surrounded him.

Aribonus then came out of the dark cloud and said “rise up Joshua”.

Joshua then opened up his eyes and saw Aribonus.

He then went down on one knee and bowed down before him.

“Why are you here master” asked Joshua.

“It’s time for the dark dragon warriors to step out of the shadows and take what belongs to us” said Aribonus.

“But master, what about the dragon warriors, they may try to stop us” said Joshua.

“That is precisely why they will the first to fall by our hands” said Aribonus.

"But master are you sure now is the right time to strike” asked Joshua.

“Yes, it is the right time and just to ensure we come out victorious I shall bring back four of my most loyal and formidable warriors” said Aribonus.

“Who are they?” asked Joshua.

"The first dark dragon warriors to ever fight by my side, they fought alongside me, during my last days in this world, they were cast in to the realm of chaos and darkness alongside my soul after I was defeated by the golden dragon warrior” said Aribonus as he remembered how he was defeated all those years ago by the golden dragon warrior and his follows that fell to the realm of chaos and darkness alongside his soul.

"These warriors are not like the average dragon warrior Joshua; their time in the realm of chaos and darkness has changed them. Granting them powers unlike any other dragon warrior” said Aribonus.

“What kind of power do they possess” asked Joshua.

“Other dragon warriors possess the power of the elements in their most basic form but they possess the power of the elements in all forms” said Aribonus.

“What do you mean by that master?” asked Joshua unable to understand what his master meant by those words.

"You’ll see Joshua” said Aribonus as he looked out through the window.

Dark clouds then began high in sky.

“A storm is coming Joshua” said Aribonus before Joshua turned to the window to see the dark cloud.

“Tonight the barrier between the realm of chaos and darkness and this realm is at its weakest” said Aribonus as he took a deep and closed his eyes.

“It’s not enough for me to free my soul from the realm but it is weak enough for me to free my most loyal dark dragon warriors” said Aribonus before he open up his eyes and they were now glowing violet dragon eyes.

Then a massive tire appeared in the sky, the tire acted as a gateway from the realm of darkness and chaos, and into their world.

Four being who resembled dragon warriors then came out of the tire and crashed down on the ground below.

Joshua looked at the beings from the window.

They were four dragon warriors of earth, fire, air and water.

“These are my dark dragon warriors; Dragson the dark fire dragon warrior, Alaeran the earth dragon warrior, Richard the dark water dragon warrior and Fintus the dark wind dragon warrior. They will help bring my glorious plan to reality” said Aribonus before he disappeared in a cloud of darkness.

The dark dragon warriors then came out of their homes and saw the four dark dragon warriors which were summoned by Aribonus.

Joshua then came out of his home to greet them.

When he got to them he went down on one knee and said “it is an honor to stand before the very first dark dragons that fought alongside our master”.

“Rise up warrior, we have work to do, for soon the world would be covered by the dark cloud of the dark dragon warrior” said Alaeran.

“She is right; there will be enough time to honor us later but for now we have work to do” said Richard.

“You are right” said Joshua as he got up and turned to the army of dark dragon warriors behind him.

“Hear me dark dragon warriors the time has come for us to step out of the shadows and reveal ourselves to world. Each and every one of us suffered and lost something, we’ve known only pain and misery. Life has taken too much from us and its time we take it all back. For every tear we have shed because of the misery and pain the world gave us after taking our happiness, we will make the world cry a river and take much more than the world took from us. The time has come for dark dragon warriors to show the world why we are called dark dragons” said Joshua.

All the dark dragon warriors began to chant and scream in agreement with Joshua.

It was time they came out of the darkness and make the world for the pain gave them.

“Well said warrior, now then we must prepare for battle” said Dragson to Joshua.
