The Blood of The Dragon

chapter 4

David went to the man, seeing that he was hurt and helped him up.

He took the man to the cave where he stayed in to wait for the storm to pass so he could rest.

"Who are you" asked David wondering who the strange man was.

"My name is Victor and I am a wind dragon warrior" said the man, introducing himself.

"A wind dragon warrior, what exactly is that?" asked David confused as to what the man meant when he said he was a wind dragon warrior.

"A wind dragon a dragon warrior that possesses and controls the power of the wind" said Victor.

"What is dragon warrior?" asked David, once again confused.

"Beings part man part dragon. They possess incredible powers and the abilities to manipulate and control the the four elements like a wind dragon warrior can manipulate the wind" said Victor.

"Oh, then am I a dragon warrior?" asked David."Yes but you are no ordinary dragon warrior" said Victor remembering what he saw in the forest and how David almost ended Joshua's life.

"Is that a good or bad thing" asked David."It could be a bad thing but it could also be a good thing" said Victor.

"Well it has always been a bad thing for me. I have had to stay away from the people around to protect them from the monster inside" said David.

Tears began to fall down from his eyes as David thought of everything he had to go through because of his darkness.

His darkness was his ultimate source of pain and misery; it has taken away his joy and happiness, replacing it with pain and sorrow.

Victor could see his pain and misery, and could not help but feel bad for the poor boy.

Victor could not even begin to imagine all the horrible and painful things David had experienced and endured throughout his life living alone and all at very tender age."I can only imagine the pain you had to endure after being alone for so long" said Victor.

"It's not easy sometimes I think it would be better if I just put an end to it all, close my eyes and never open them again. At least that way I can escape the pain and darkness I have had to endure for what has felt like a life time" said David.

"I can't blame you for wanting to end it all David, life has really played a cruel joke on you and at such a young age" said Victor feeling bad for David as imagined everything he must have went through having to deal the darkness deep withing for so many years.

"I used to have a sister and like you she was a very powerful dragon warrior and could even control all four element. She care about everyone around her and wanted to use her powers to keep them safe just like you" said Victor.

"What happened to her?" asked David.

"She passed away while trying save this world from another powerful dragon warrior named Aribonus" said Victor.

David eyes then widen as he heard what Victor just said.

"Aribonus but Joshua said he was his masterand he was going to teach me how to control powers and my darkness" said David shocked.

"He lied; Aribonus was defeated by my sister a long time ago, Aribonus is a manipulative, evil and vile man, both him and anyone who serves him cannot be trusted. Joshua is just one of Aribonus's many followers who seek finish what Aribonus started a long time ago and that is to plunge our world in to chaos and destruction" said Victor.

"So it was all a lie, I should have known it was too good to be true" said David with a deep sigh, angry with himself for falling for all of Victor's lies about him finally being ale to control his darkness.
