“Remind me why we agreed to do this again” asked Flora as she and David rode together on her wind dragon since David couldn’t summon his own yet, along with the others who were riding their very own dragons; John on his earth dragon, Susan on a water dragon and Steven on a fire dragon.
“I still can’t believe that you still can’t summon your dragon David” said Afinto.
“I can’t believe we are actually going through with your stupid idea” said Susan.
“Tell me about it. Do you all realize we are going to the most dangerous place in the island” said Steven.
“Yeah but you all agreed to come” said Afinto.
“Yeah, I don’t know who is more stupid you for suggesting it or us for actually going along with it” said Flora.
David said nothing while his friends continued to question themselves for listening to Afinto’s idea.
David was focused more on the strange feeling he got as they flew closer and closer to the dark side of the island.
David still couldn’t explain it but there was some out there, in the dark side of the island calling out to him.
“Hey David” said Flora snapping David out trance like state.
“What?” asked David?
“What are you thinking about? You’ve had your head stuck high up in the clouds for a while now” said Flora.
“It’s nothing, I just got lost in my thoughts that’s all” said David with an assuring smile.
“Alright then” said Flora.
As they approached the dark side of the island they all felt a strange power coming from the dark side of the island.
“Do you all feel that” asked Steven.
“Yeah I do” said David.
“We should go back now to the Dragon Academy, I’m having a bad felling about this place” said Flora.
“You and me both sister” said Susan.
“What? Are you serious? We’ve already made it this far, there is no use in turn back now” said Afinto before he rode his earth dragon further in to the dark side of the island disappearing in to the thick cloud of darkness that was above the dark part of the island.
“We probably should go after him” said David.
“I guess so but if we die, I swear I’m going to kill him” said Flora before the all rode in to the island after him.
As they came closer and closer to the dark side of the island, entering the dark cloud, they heard Afinto scream.
They then went into the dark side upon hearing Afinto screaming to figure out what had happened to Afini and why he was screaming but as they did the strange power coming from the dark side grew stronger and then the power the caused their dragons to disappear causing them all to begin to fall down from high up in the sky.
They all screamed out of fear that they may lose their lives as they fell.
David then got an idea that might save them all from crashing down hard on the ground.
“EVERYONE HOLD HAND!!!!” screamed David.
All them did the holding hands as they continued to fall.
“Flora I’m going to need your help” said David.
“What do need me to do” asked Flora.
“Just follow me lead” said David before he began to use the power of the to try and slow down their descent down to the ground.
