The Blood of The Dragon

Chapter 33

As Afinto, Susan, Flora and Steven made their way to the Dragon Academy; riding their dragons to the Dragon Academy they saw the army of dark dragon warrior fly out of the Dragon Academy.

They then quickly went down and hid underneath the thick forest so the dark dragon warriors wouldn’t spot them.

“Why are they leaving the academy” asked Flora.

“I’m not sure” said Afinto.

“Come, we will have to go to the Dragon Academy by foot, we can’t risk them spotting us” said Steven.

“Steven’s right, we have to go without our dragons” said Afinto.

They all then agreed that it would be best if they all continued by foot.

Steven noticed Susan face, she looked lost in her thoughts.

“What’s wrong sister” asked Steven.

“It’s nothing important” said Susan.

Steven could tell that what she said was lie, she wasn’t alright and she was obviously worried about something.

“Stop lying sister, it doesn’t suit you” said Steven.

Susan just sighed, knowing that there was no point in lying to her brother.

"I just worried David. What if they got to him, he just a wind dragon warrior, they might hurt him or worse” said James.

Steven could see the concern and worry in her eyes for David as she said those words.

“David may be a wind dragon warrior but he is one of the toughest dragon warriors I know besides for all we know he might have made out of the Dragon Academy before these dragon warriors attacked” said Steven.

A smile then formed on Susan’s.

"Thanks Steven” said Susan.

“You are welcome” said Steven.

They finally reached the gates of the Dragon Academy.

There they saw Alaeran, Dragson, Fintus, Richard and Joshua, and their parents who were trapped to the crystal ball.

“Ours, their alive” said Afinto with a smile on his face, happy to see his father was still alive.

“Yeah but they are trapped in some kind of crystal ball and something tells me those people won’t be kind enough to let them out anytime soon” said Flora.

“What do we do guys, I mean we can’t just walk in there” said Susan.

“I have an idea” said Afinto.

"What is it?” asked Flora.

“If you all could distract them I might be able to use my strength to break the crystal prison and free our parents” said Afinto.

“Are you sure you are up of this Afinto” asked Flora.

Afinto then looked at his father who was injured and in prisoned along with Susan, Steven and Flora’s parents.

“I don’t but I know I have to at least try. I am the strongest one of us here after all” said Afinto.

“Alright then let’s go save our parents” said Steven.

In the academy Alaeran, Richard, Dragson, Fintus and Joshua were discussing.

"We need to get the boy at any cost” said Joshua.

“How do we know he hasn’t left the island” asked Richard.

“Because he can’t summon a dragon, when I attacked earlier David was riding on Joshua’s dragon” said Joshua.

"So the boy is still on the island” asked Fintus.

"Yes” said Joshua.

“Then all we have to do is find him” said Dragson.

“Seems simple enough” said Alaeran.

They then heard something burst open the academy gates and sent it flying their way.

Fintus quickly used the power of the wind to stop before it could reach them.

“I missed” said a voice.

They all turned and saw Afinto who was the one that ripped out the gate using his raw strength and then threw it straight for them.

Next to Afinto were Steven, Flora and Susan.

"Flora, what are you doing here” said Victor and Diana shocked and worried upon seeing Flora.

"We are here to get you out there” said Flora.

“Steven, I told you to hide along with Susan” said James.

“Sorry dad but I disobey” said Steven.

“Remember the plan guys, keep the others busy” whispered Steven to the others.

“Let’s make them all pay for missing with our school and our parents” said Flora before they all readied themselves for battle.

Then they all charged in.

Susan attacked Richard, blasting away with powerful jets of water.

Joshua and Steven attacked each other with powerful balls of red hot flames.

Dragson stood at a corner observing Steven as he fought Joshua with a smile on his face.

“So this is the son of James Beobufin, let’s see if he can live up to his family’s name” said Dragson as he continued to observe Steven’s and Joshua’s fight.

Afinto made his way to the crystal ball, Alaeran saw this charged straight for him, about to attack him in an attempt to stop him but a gush of wind blew out of nowhere and sent her flying and crashing through the academy walls.

Afinto turned back and saw Flora behind him.

“Go, I’ll handle her” said Flora.

Afinto smiled at her before he left, headed straight for the crystal ball.

Afinto managed to reach the crystal ball.

"Son, please leave this place before you get hurt, that’s an order” asked Binatus with concern and worry for his son.

“Sorry dad but you are only my king in Eretchela” said Afinto before his entire body turned to rock and stone.

“Which means I don’t have to obey any of your orders” said Afinto before he began to strike the crystal ball with all his strength.
