The Blood of The Dragon

Chapter 34

Steven managed to dodge every single one of Joshua’s attacks.

“You are quick, I will give you that boy” said Joshua with a smile on his face.

“But being quick can only get you so far” said Joshua before he struck the ground, it began to rumble and crack, and then red hot flames erupted from the ground.

The flames hits Steven and completely engulf, burning some of his clothes but because Steven was a fire dragon the flames could not burn his skin.

When the flames stopped burning Steven was left on the ground.

It seemed like Steven had been bested and by Joshua.

Dragson watching the fight from afar knew that Steven was not done, he knew Beobufin blood that flowed through his veins would not allow him stay down.

And just like Dragson predicted Steven got up.

Driven by the burning flames in the dragon fueled blood Steven summoned the little strength he had left.

“You refuse to stay down boy, how admirable of you” said Joshua a bit impressed by Steven resolve and strength to continue their battle.

“Are you going to keep talking all day or are we going to finish this” said Steven.

Joshua just smiled before saying “very well as you wish”.

Joshua then began to fire massive red hot ball of flames straight for Steven which hits him and engulfs him in a fiery explosion.

Joshua smiled think that he had ended Steven.

For a brief moment it seemed like Steven was truly gone but then they heard Steven voice coming from the patch of smoke created from the fiery explosion.

“I that all you’ve” said Steven as he emerged out of the smoke.

Joshua stood their shocked and astonished at how Steven was still standing after all his attacks.

Steven saw the shocked look on his face and smiled.

“Let me show you what it means to be a true dragon warrior” said Steven as his eyes turned in to red fiery dragon eyes.

Steven then took in a deep breath and with a massive dragon like roar breathes fire out from his mouth.

Joshua tried to block the flames with his bare hands but it was too much for him and the flames consumed him Joshua was now on the ground beaten.

Dragson smiled before walked to Joshua.

“You’ve been bested Joshua, do the noble thing as a great warrior and stay down” said Dragson.

Joshua then bowed down head in shame and struck the ground.

Dragson then turned to Steven and smiled at him.

“What’s with the creepy smile” asked Steven.

“Nothing, I’m just glad that you inherited the same fiery spirit from your father” said Dragson.

Steven a bit confused as to how Dragson knew his father just charged in toward Dragson fire balls of flames towards him.

Dragson did not move or even try to dodge the flames and all the balls fire hits.

Steven froze up in shock as he as he saw Dragson just standing without a scratch on him.

“I have to say dear boy your flames are even hotter than you father’s when he was your age” said Dragson with a sinister smile.
