The Blood of The Dragon

Chapter 8

Victor took David to one of the empty rooms in the academy.

“This is where you will be staying” said Victor.

David entered the room and looked around.
The room had wooden furniture’s like a few chairs and a table alone with nice bed next a window that had an incredible view of the entire island.

“It’s amazing, thank Victor” said David.

“You’re welcome David. I’ll leave so you can get settled in to your new room” said Victor before he left.

David looked out the window and saw the breath taking view of the island; he also saw the dark part of the forest and could still sense something there calling out to him.

As Victor roamed the hall of the Dragon Academy he heard the roar of a dragon from outside the academy.

He looked out through the window and saw Diana on her wind dragon about to leave with it.

Victor turned to air and blew away, reforming next to Diana’s dragon to inquire about why Diana was leaving and to where.

“Are you really about to leave without saying goodbye” said Victor.

“If you could do it why can’t I” said Diana.

“Yeah except when I did it I didn’t get caught” said Victor which caused Diana to smile a little.

“But serious Diana where are you going to” asked Victor.

Diana sighed before saying “to talk to some of our old friends”.

Victor understood what Diana meant by that and said “David isn’t a threat”.

“How sure are you Victor? I know you care about him because he reminds you of Ibierana but you have to understand that she is dead and David is not Ibierana. Stop thinking with your heart Victor and use your head, David might be the end of everything” said Diana.

“I am using my head Diana. David is a lost and confused child, all he needs is a little guidance” said Victor.

“And he will get all the guidance he needs but if that isn’t enough to keep his dark side at bay we must be prepare for the worst” said Diana.

“I still don’t think that telling them about him is the best choice” said Victor.

“I know but it still has to be done” said Diana before she kissed Victor’s cheek.

“Take care of the Dragon Academy while I’m away” said Diana before she rode her wind dragon away.

“We have been married for so many years now and still I can’t understand how I managed to fall in love with that woman” said Victor before he turned to air and blew away.

Victor reformed in front of his office.

Victor then opened the door and entered his office only to see a strange man wearing a suit of black armor and black helmet that covered his face sitting on his desk.

“Hello Victor, it’s been a while” said the man.

Victor then closed the door shut.

“What on earth are you doing here” asked Victor.

“Relax I just came here to check on you and to see if you have brought the boy here like I intended” said the man.

“Wait, you wanted me to bring the boy here” asked Victor shocked.

“Of course I did” said the man.

“But you told me that the dark dragon warriors were planning something, something that might end us all and to stop them I needed to leave the Dragon Academy” said Victor.
