A few years later...
A certain ravenette man sat in front of a familiar tombstone with a dorayaki in his hand. A bitter sad smile decorated his lips as he made himself comfortable.
"How are you up there?" Mikey spoke. "I miss you, you know. We all do."
A sharp sigh escaped from his lips, even with all these years, he still couldn't get over the feeling, of losing someone, of losing his sibling. "Aomine couldn't stop talking about you during his interviews, that prick." He chuckles. "He keeps referring to you as the very first person to believe in him... I mean, what about his mother right? hahaha!"
"The others are doing fine ya' know. Draken and Emma got married, I know, big news. The twins own a ramen shop, I wish you could've tried it, it's really delicious. I also became a racer! could you believe it?! Ah- And what else..." Mikey pondered for a while.
"I tried not to go down that dark path." He blurted out, Mikey went silent for a moment. "It was really hard, especially after losing you but...I know you would hate me if I did." Mikey unconsciously fiddles with his fingers.
"How are you up there? Are you eating right...ah no that sounds stupid." He sighed. "I hope you're doing okay up there."
"Hey." Mikey was a bit startled, he turns around only to find out it was just his younger sister.
"Don't sneak up on me like that, Emma!" Mikey exclaimed. He then saw Draken getting out of his car, they went all across town to pick him up, knowing he'd be here in the graveyard.
"Let's go, Mikey. We'd be late for the wedding." The tattooed man says. Mikey stood up and left the dorayaki beside his sibling's tombstone. But before he left, he took one last glance.
"Look out for us, alright?"
---
"I can't believe this is really happening." Mikey sobbed.
"Stop it, Mikey, you're embarrassing us," Emma grunted as they all sat at their designated table. Even back in the church, Mikey wouldn't shut up about the two newlyweds. And now they're at the reception with the other members of toman.
"My baby is all grown up!" He continued to sob.
"Nii-san, people are starting to think you're my father." A monotone voice spoke from behind.
"Mui-chan!!" Mikey latched on to his sister, crying. The ravenette girl couldn't help but laugh at her brother.
"There there," Mui taps Mikey's shoulder while the others congratulated Mui and her husband, who stood right behind them. A tall man with dark blue hair dressed in a formal black tuxedo.
"Congratulations, Mui, Daiki." Mitsuya smiled and then shook hands with the tall male.
"Thanks, Mitsuya. I'm glad you could all come." Says Daiki whilst putting his arms around the ravenette woman.
"Oi, we're still here ya' know." Mikey sulked.
"Mikey. They're married." Draken smacked him on the back of his head.
"Still!"
Kazutora took one look at the ravenette girl who smiles back at him. "Daiki told me you were busy with the pet shop."
"Ah well, I can't miss your wedding can I?" Says Kazutora before hugging her.
Mikey saw the interaction between the two, and couldn't help but smile softly. It's still surreal to him that the incident happened just a few years ago. Knowing Mui, he knew that forgiving Kazutora would be challenging and impossible. But then, when he and Kuroko got to talk to Kazutora, everything changed.
That day Mikey will never forget, how Kazutora saved Mui from that bullet. He didn't just save Mui, but he also saved Mikey from going down that path. Mikey could never imagine losing another sibling.
"Oh look, Taiga and the others are here." Daiki and Mui bid goodbye to greet their friends from the generation of miracles.
The newlyweds went towards Taiga and the others' table, most of the guys were teasing Aomine, considering he'd been head-over-heels for Mui since they were kids.
"Really Dai-chin? Since we were kids?" Mui turns to the taller male cluelessly. Aomine could only scratch his nape and looked away.
"wasn't it obvious?"
"Well...I can't exactly remember." Aomine heard her mumble. He took it upon himself to grab a hold of her hand, squeezing it lightly.
"Don't worry, I'll make you remember every single day." The dark-haired male leans closely, and Mui couldn't help but smile. She wasn't sure what she did or if she even deserves to find a guy like Aomine Daiki. He was the person who really stood by her through the toughest times, even with the time she couldn't even understand herself, when she was so lost out of her mind, her Dai-chin was there. And she couldn't ask for more.
Kise together with their closest friends smiled and was so happy for them both. Even Momoi who held the biggest crush on Mui during their high school years. And just then, Akashi leaned toward Kuroko with a judging look.
"Once they divorce I'm back in the game."
"Akashi-kun, we're still at their reception."
