chapter 54. new years and the most important day.

Tubbo's pov*

I woke up to a small soft kiss on the back of my neck. "Good morning." He whispered. "Mmmm good morning love." I said in a tired voice. "I love you." I said as I rolled over a hugged keephim. "I love you too." I got up and went downstairs and watched TV.

Ranboo's pov*

I got up and got some clothes to change into and took a shower. After I was done I got dressed and got the ring. I was gonna be proposing today no matter what. Today was new year's Eve as well. I walked downstairs and I get greeted with a kiss and arms around my waist. I smile and ruffle tubbo's hair. He looked up at me and kissed me again I kissed back and made some food. I decided to make some cheese toast. When I was done I put two pieces on a plate and took them in the living room and gave one to tubbo. We ate and I put the plate on the counter. I sat back down and I got a message from Wilbur.

Wilbur: hey Ranboo I was gonna ask if I could come over to your house to celebrate new years?

Me: yeah that's fine I was gonna ask if you could come over anyway to help me out with something.

Wilbur: sure man what is it?

Me: Im gonna be proposing today and I wanted to ask if you wanted to help set everything up.

Wilbur: oh my god are you serious yes I will help.

Me: ok meet us here at like 9:00 dose that sound good?

Wilbur: yeah see ya there bye.

Me: bye.

I put my phone down and noticed tubbo starring at my hoodie pocket. "What's wrong bee?" I asked. "Nothing but what's in your pocket?" He asked. It was the ring. "Uhh it's a special surprise for you to night." I said nervously. "Oh ok... I love you." He said hugging me. I held his arm and kissed his cheek.

Ranboo's pov*

It's been about 5 hours Wilbur should be here in like 5 minutes I got up and walked around outside for a little bit. I sat on the ground and looked at the ring. It was perfect... I just hope he says yes. About a minute later Wilbur arrived and got out of his car. "Hey Ranboo you ready for the special night?" He asked me. "Y-Yeah yeah. I just hope he says yes. But uh how have you been?" I asked. "Oh I've been good man. But uh can I see the ring if that's ok?" He asked. I nodded and pulled it out of my pocket and showed it to him. "Oh my god that's beautiful I think he's gonna love it." He said. "I'll love what?" Tubbo said walking towards us. I quickly put it back in my pocket and turned around. "Oh uhh nothing it's just something I have planned to night." I said nervously. "Anyway me and Wilbur are gonna head to the store real quick and get some stuff for to night." I said as I hugged him. He hugged back. "Ok love you be careful." He said as he waved goodbye. "We will and I love you too." I said as I got into the car. It was Wilbur's car so obviously he drove. We went to the store and walked in. We got snacks and drinks. "Hey Wilbur do you think he'll say yes?" I said nervously. We were in the car on the way home. "He looked over at me and smiled softly. " Dude he's gonna say yes. Do you know how much he loves you? Don't even stress. Hey I promise." He said as he looked back at the road. "Ok." I said as I sighed to clear my thoughts. When we got to the house I got out of the car and helped Wilbur with the groceries. We walked inside and put the groceries down and went upstairs to look for tubbo. I walked into our bedroom and immediately got pulled into a hug and before I could react I felt someone kiss me. "Hey bee." I said hugging him back. "Hi boo. I missed you." He said as he kissed my cheek. "I missed you too. But are you excited for to night?" I asked. He nodded and let go of me. I quickly grabbed him again and ruffled his hair and kissed him. I let him go and walked back down stairs. Wilbur was on the couch waiting for me. "So what are we gonna do for the thing wil?" I asked. "I have some stuff in the trunk of my car can you help me get it?" He asked. I nodded and walked back outside with him. He opened the trunk of his car and he had a few bags of flower petals and fake candles? "Uhhh wha-wh- you know what I'm not gonna question why you have this let's just bring it inside." I said getting a few bags of flower petals and a few candles. We brought them inside and set them up. "So when do you plan on asking?" He asked. "At midnight." I said. "Ok so where do you want the path of flower petals and candles to lead to?" He asked. "Hmm what about the backyard?" I asked. He nodded an I helped him set it up. It led from the bottom of the stairs to the back porch. After we were done I went upstairs to distract tubbo from going downstairs. "Hey bee your surprise is almost ready just don't go downstairs please. I said as I say on the bed with him. " uh ok I wont." He said as he hugged me.

Ranboo's pov*

It was five minutes till 12:00. I went downstairs and told Wilbur to go get tubbo. I was on the back porch waiting for my beloved to come outside. About 4 minutes later he walked outside. I quickly stood up and hugged him tight. "Hopefully he will say yes." I thought as I let go of him. "Boo what's going on?" He asked me. I pulled the ring out of my pocket where he wouldn't notice and got on one knee. "Here go see nothing." I sighed. "Tubbo I love you so so much more than you would ever know... And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?" I asked as I opened the case of the ring. He stood there in shock. I started sweating. He started crying. "Yes, yes, yes, yes a thousand times yes." He said in tears of joy. I stood up and put the ring on his finger and lifted him off the ground as I spun him around in a hug. I put him back down and kissed him and as soon as I did I firework went off. I let go of him and kissed him on more time. "I honestly thought that you were gonna say no. I'm so happy that you said yes." I said as I hugged him again. He hugged back and kissed my cheek. Wilbur walked out and hugged me. "So how did it go?" He asked. I started crying a bit because of how happy I was. "He said yes. He said yes!" I said happily. "That's great I'm happy for you two." He said. After an hour Wilbur left and me and tubbo went to bed.

Just me and my now fiance sleeping together on the happiest day of my life. Nothing could be any better than this.
