chapter 60. date night!

Wilbur's pov*

We all got back into the car and started driving. Although I was slightly worried and mad mainly because Aaron was a terrible person. The things that I witnessed him do to Tubbo were just unacceptable... I can't believe that he even had the guts to show his face last year. I guess Quakity saw the anger in my face because he lightly tapped my shoulder. "Are you ok?" He asked. I nodded and looked in the backseat through the mirror. "Awwh." I said underneath my breath. Tubbo was leaning on Ranboo hugging him and looking out the window while Ranboo was I guess scrolling on Twitter but he was smiling. "I love how they enjoy each other's company.. It's cute." I thought to myself. Quakity reached his hand over the console signaling me to grab his hand I accepted. He smiled faintly and looked back down on his phone. "Are we there yet I'm hungry.." Tubbo complained. "Almost Tubs just a little bit longer." I said. "Fine." He whined. "Tubbo look it's funny." Ranboo said to try to get his mind off of his hunger. A few minutes later we were officially at the one and only McDonald's. (Wilbur said that it would be warm out... But it's a little bit cold... But they can't hear me because I am a narrator. Let me just poof myself a thin jacket. Lol. *POOF* ahhh no longer cold. Come on let's go see what happens!)

Ranboo's POV*

Tubbo and I got out of the car and it was a little bit colder than expected. Tubbo grabbed my hand and held it. I hugged him. We walked in and found a table. "I'll be right back." Tubbo said as he got up and walked outside. He seemed kinda worried. I got up and followed him. When I got outside I saw him walking to the car. I still followed him to see if he was ok. When I get to him I lightly hug him and kiss the top of his head. "Are you ok love?" I asked. "Yeah.. Yeah I'm ok." He says hesitantly. "Your worried about Aaron.. Aren't you?" I ask gently pulling his face to look at me. He gently nodes and places his head on my chest. "It's ok... I promise you it's gonna be ok." He nodded again. "C'mon let's go inside we're on a date! Remember?" I said trying to cheer him up. "Yeah.. Yeah let's go inside. Their probably wondering where we are." He said happily. But I could tell that he was still worried. We walked back inside and sat at the table again. "Hey guys where were you. Quakity asked as he set some drinks on the table. "We were outside talking." I said. Tubbo slid closer to me and laid his head on my shoulder. "Quakity smiled as he walked off to find Wilbur I'm guessing. "Are you ok love?" I asked. He nodded and quickly kissed my cheek. "I love you." I said. "I know you do. And I do too." He said back. "Hey guys!" Wilbur said walking to the table with Quakity. They both sat down and we ordered our food. Wilbur ordered a burger and fries with some sprite, Quakity ordered the same thing as Wilbur. Tubbo ordered a cheese burger and fries with a vanilla milkshake, and I got the same thing as Tubbo I just got a side of chicken nuggets and a chocolate milkshake. A few minutes later our food came and we started eating while talking. "Thank you." Wilbur said to the waitress that brought our food to us. She smiled and walked off. As we ate in a comfortable silence Tubbo decided to start a conversation. "So what are we gonna do after we're done here?" He asked. "Ranboo and I were thinking about going to the park after." Wilbur said. "Ohh fun!" Quakity and Tubbo said. "Wait uh give me a second. Quakity can I talk to you for a second?" Wilbur asked as he got up and took Quakity's hand and walked outside with him.

Wilbur's pov*

I took Quakity's hand and walked outside with him. "What did you need to talk about?" He asked a little concerned. "Uhh so before we left you know how Ranboo and Tubbo were walking around?" I asked. "Yeah? What about it?" He asked confused. "Well Ranboo spoke to me about it and he said it was because Tubbo saw his abusive ex through one of the windows and it made him nervous." I said. "What's their name maybe I know him." Quakity said kind of upset. "His name is Aaron." I said hoping he would recognize the name. "Oh.. That's my neighbor." he said. "Dont trust him the things that I've witnessed him do to Tubbo are unacceptable." I said to him in a stern voice. He nodded and we walked back inside.
