4. Odd Man Out

Current time. At the rooftop.

"So that's what happened." Jin said after he shared to Soobin the happenings that night.

"Sunbae can remember up to that point only?"

"Uhm, sort of. Then I just woke up, I'm already on a bed, in an expensive hotel - naked and full of kiss marks from head to toe. Literally." Jin sighed. "When I woke up, there was no one and nothing there. No written notes or number, nothing. The smell of different Alphas were present in the room, so I couldn't really tell.

But I can quite remember that I was doing it with only one person. Not a memory that tells me there were multiple guys around me. I'm pretty sure there was only one. I just can't really remember his face. My mind was too blurry at the time."

Jin let out a deep sigh once again, then he gripped on his hair and pulled it while saying, "Ughhh!! How can this be possible?!! I can't really remember a thing! Even just his hair color!!"

"Sunbae--"

Jin stopped and just slouched as he sat. "I'm hopeless."

Soobin looked at Jin for a while as he thought, then he sat beside him slowly.

Jin spoke again, "Should I just abort this baby?! I don't have a lot of savings, I work just to be able to eat, pay my rent and my bills. What do I do when this b-baby c-comes?!"

Tears then came streaming down Jin's face. But he quickly wiped them, feeling embarrassed in front of his junior. "I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't be like this. I'm pathetic, r-right?!"

"That's not true, sunbae. You were just unfortunate. It is your choice if you want to keep the baby. As you've said, it'll be difficult for you to raise it alone. But-- but I want to help you. How about I try to help you remember what happened? Or figure out who could be the possible father."

"How are we going to do that?!"

"Hmm- maybe.. let's see-- who could most possibly liked to sleep with you?!"

"Uhm- I don't know, all of them?!" Jin pouted as he thought, "Or no, not all. One of them hates me."

"Oh! Yes! That's it! Let's try to eliminate the possibilities one by one.. So, there's six of them, right?! Who's this one who hated you?!"

"J-jungkook. He hated me since the day he found out that I'm an Omega."

"Wow-- I wouldn't want to meet him."

"At least you're not a dominant one." Jin sighed. "But wait-- actually, I think I remember him- leaving first..."

Jin frowned as he recalled what he heard while he was still kneeling on the floor of the restaurant. Then he said sadly, "Y-yeah. I'm sure it was him who said it. That was his voice. He left the restaurant right away. He-- he d-did not care about m-me at all.."

"Okay, if you're sure. Then Jungkook is now out of the list. We're left with Jimin, Hobi, Namjoon, Taehyung and Yoongi."

"N-no, it couldn't possibly be Yoongi. I know him too well-- he never does it without protection. He always uses condom no matter how drunk or tired he is." Jin said softly while fidgeting his fingers.

"Ah okay. How can you be so sure of that detail?!" When Soobin did not get an answer from Jin, he just cleared his throat and continued, "Then it's just the four left. Do you think you can ask them directly?!"
