Author-nim's P.O.V.

About three months ago.

Jin was standing in front of a luxurious restaurant, questioning his decision why he even attempted to come to the place.

A week ago, he received an invitation to attend a reunion of his highschool close friends. It was a surprise to Jin that they still invite him every year, since they were not exactly in good terms during their last year in highschool.

Jin never attended their previous invitations as he didn't want to be stuck with six Alphas. He thought it would also be awkward for him, being the only Omega, and he wouldn't know how to handle such a situation.

But when Jimin called him to confirm his attendance, he couldn't say no anymore, as the latter said that just a couple might attend so he wished that at least Jin can come.

Jin thought he would just say hi, then leave right away. So he took an enough amount of heat suppressants, just to be ready for any Alpha pheromones he would encounter. But now that he saw their meeting location, Jin felt out of place again.

He realized once more that he's the only one who's not rich amongst these people, and that he didn't want to spend too much of his savings just for this night.

"Why did I even come here?!!" Jin muttered to himself as he let out a deep sigh. "I guess I'm just hoping to see him for a bit. But-- will he even come?"

After a while of contemplating, Jin clicked his tongue and sighed, he whispered under his breath, "Nah, I shouldn't be here."

"Hey, Jinnie!! You came.."

Jin's eyes widened to see a blonde, gorgeous guy with an angelic smile, "Oh- h-hello, Jimin!"

Jimin smiled even wider and walked closer to him, "Oh my-- look at you.. You're even prettier than the last time I stalked your IG."

"Huh?! Uhm-"

"Now, don't get too shy! You're turning red already." Jimin chuckled. "Please relax. And call me Chim. You used to call me that!"

"Ah- yes, Chim." Jin smiled. "You look really handsome too."

"Thanks, I know. We'll look so good together, don't you think?!"

Jin became speechless at what he heard, and he can definitely say that Jimin was enjoying it thru his glittering eyes.

"You haven't changed, Jinnie. You're still so cute when flustered." Jimin smirked a bit. Then he smiled to lighten the tension, "Why aren't you going in?! Were you having second thoughts?? C'mon now, let's get inside. Hobi is already there." Jimin quickly clung to Jin's arm and pulled him to walk inside.

"O-okay."

"Aishh! Finally you are here, Chim! Do you have a powerbank?! I fucking forgot mine and my battery is fucking empty!! I haven't posted my LV getup yet! What da fuck! Fuck this reunion!! Fuck this phone, and fuck--"

"Hobi-- is that how you greet our special guest?!" Jimin quickly cut his friend who's not even looking their way - he's staring at his phone and just went ranting at him as soon as they entered the VIP room.

So Hobi quickly raised his head and smiled widely when he saw Jin walking side by side with Jimin.

"Oh shoot-- Jwannn!!! You came! I'm so happy to see you!!" Hobi exclaimed.
