14. A Slow Shortcut

Jin couldn't quite comprehend what was already happening as Taehyung's scent was making him weak. He slightly opened his mouth and licked on the Alpha's lips - this was answered by Taehyung, sucking on his tongue gently.

Soft moans escaped both of their lips, but as Jin stood up to press his body against Taehyung, the latter stepped back a bit and pulled from their kiss.

Jin's eyes went wide, and his face suddenly went warm and reddish due to the embarrassment he felt. He then stuttered, "I-- I'm sorry, I did not m-mean to be aggressive."

Taehyung quickly stepped closer to him again and placed his hands on Jin's waist, "No! No, it's not that I didn't want you, Jin. I swear, God knows how long I've waited for this day that you'll give me even just the slightest attention.

I just-- I don't want to take it further like this. As I've said, I am not in a rush. I don't want you to think that I am only after your body and your sweet scent. Therefore, I don't want us to have sex just because we feel needy of each other which was only driven by our pheromones. I want us to be special, Jin.."

Jin could only stare at Taehyung's eyes as he spoke. But his chest was beating so fast that he couldn't hear anything else but the Alpha's voice, and couldn't see anything else but Taehyung's gentle face.

"Thank you for the meal, Tae. I really appreciate you doing this for me." Jin said as he walked Taehyung to the elevator.

"Did you enjoy your food even if it was just simple? I promise to bring good meat tomorrow. I mean- if it's fine for me to visit again tomorrow?"

"Are you kidding? A top-notch chef just cooked for me personally, I feel like I've eaten in a fine dining restaurant. Thank you. And yes, yes-- you can visit me anytime, Tae."

"That's great. I'm already looking forward to tomorrow. Oh- by the way, did you visit the doctor already?" Taehyung said as he pressed the button of the elevator. He then turned again to Jin, staring at him intently.

"Ah yes. I should book an appointment soon. Maybe on the weekend. Would you like to join me?"

"Of course. I'll go with you. I'd like to hear that you and our baby are healthy. Uhm- after that, let's talk more about sharing this with our families?"

Jin just pressed his lips together and looked down, he muttered, "I don't really think my parents would even be interested in hearing about me getting pregnant."

"Oh- hmm. I remember they weren't very supportive. Okay then.. they're far different from my parents, Jin. I'm sure mum will be happy to see you, she has always admired you. And dad will be excited to have a cute grandson! He's been wanting one." Taehyung said with a chuckle, then took Jin's hands to him. He squeezed them gently, "So, no pressure. You still have a long way to go anyways, let's maybe work things out between us before anything else."

"O-okay, Tae. Thank you for being very considerate and understanding."

Ting!

"I'll go ahead." Taehyung said as he glanced at the opening elevator door.

"Thank you again for coming and please drive safely, Tae."

Taehyung smiled then placed a quick peck on Jin's cheek before getting into the elevator. He said to Jin's ear too, "Good night, Jin. See you tomorrow."

Jin flashed a small smile, and as he watched the elevator door closing - his small smile turned to a very lovely one as he recalled how thoughtful everything was between him and Taehyung. It gave him such high hopes in the future - not only for him, but also for his child.
