Rue's POV
Pumasok ako ng University, I go to our first period but some of the students are out. I saw Nikie and Jen, they're doing something.
"Hey guys!" bati ko sa dalawa.
"Oh, nand'yan kana pala 'te." sabi ni Jen.
"Bakit walang gaanong estudyante?" tanong ko sa kanila.
"Ayy si tanga late na naman sa balita." naiiling na sabi ni Jen, babatukan ko na sana pero pinigilan ako ni Nikie.
"Remember the pageant? Nandoon lahat. Pag-uusapan na raw ata, hinihintay ka lang namin ambagal mo!" singhal sakin ni Nikie.
"Oh chill, tara na!" hinila ako ni Jen at Nikie papunta sa auditorium.
I saw my goddess professor, lumapit ito sa amin. "Good morning Flovira, McKenzie, and Doutzen."
"Good morning prof." sabay sabay naming sabi, inexcuse niya ako sa dalawa wala man lang tutol at sila pa ang nagtaboy sa akin.
"Hey, are you ready?" I just shook my head and she laughed about it.
"Don't worry, Venven. I'll teach you okay?" hindi ko alam kung nang-iinis siya o sincere.
"Excuse me Ms. Fernandez, the dean is calling you po." sabi ng estudyante, I think we're in the same grade.
Geyl pull me with her, we go to the Dean's office. I saw our dean, hindi siya dean na panot na punggok na malaki ang tiyan. I can say na siya yung tipong magugustuhan ng madla, isa siyang head turner man.
"Good morning po." bati ko sa dean, he nods at me and greeted me too.
"Why did you call me?" wait, ganto makipag-usap si Geyl sa dean? the heck.
"I have something to announce." sabi ng dean pabalik.
"Spill." sabi ni Geyl na parang naiinip na.
"You won't be Miss Flovira's mentor and Ellie informed me that she will not be able to participate in the pageant." sabi niya habang nakatingin saming dalawa ni Geyl, what's with him?
"What? Come again?" rumehistro ang gulat sa mukha ni Geyl ngunit mas kita ko ang inis doon.
"You will participate as one of the judges, and Miss Demi will serve as her mentor. Because Demi has experience competing in pageants, I am confident that she can train Miss Flovira."
"No, you can't do that!" halaaa, nagagalit siya sa dean, omg.
"I already did." nagkibit-balikat si Dean.
"Who gave you the permission to do that?" base sa reaction ni Geyl ay halatang nagtitimpi nalang ito.
"I requested your father's permission, which he kindly granted." ha? permission sa father ni Geyl?
"Valentino." she just call him by his name, friends ba sila?
"A-ate, it's for the better." ohh, they're relatives pala.
"No! It's not." kinuha ni Geyl ang cellphone sa bulsa niya.
"Who are you calling?" parang biglang kinabahan si Dean.
"Cleo." tipid na sambit ni Geyl pero nakita ko kung paano nanlaki ang mata ni Dean.
"Ate!" Geyl just hush him.
"Dear Cleo, your meet up with Valentino is off because he suddenly got sick." gustong-gusto magwala ni Dean pero nakatingin ng masama si Geyl sa kanya.
"Okay, ciao!" pagpapaalam ni Geyl sa kausap.
