Falling for a Hitman

CHAPTER 2

We reached to the club and the bouncer checked our ID's and let us in. the music was too loud.

" I am gonna go get us drinks do u need something?" she asked me.

"uhh... Get me a Martini!" I said.

"What about you?" she asked to Lorenzo as she turned towards him.

"Get me a Bourbon" Lorenzo said.

"One Martini and one Bourbon coming right up!" Rach said and left.

Well this is awkward....

"So! Ruby... do u wanna come and dance with me?" he asked.

"yeah sure." I answered him.

He took my hand and leaded me to the dance floor.

He moved his body with the song and so did I, and then the DJ plays my favourite song Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon!

"OMG! THIS IS MY FAVOURITE SONG!!" I practically screamed and I let myself get lost in the song while dancing I could see Lorenzo laugh and then stop. He might think I am crazy but I don't care about it. Anyone would dance crazy if their favourite song is playing.

Soon Rach came back the drinks we told her to bring. We enjoyed ourselves allot and we had lots of fun...

It was almost 1 in the morning, and Rachel was pretty damn drunk... she just passed out as we got out of the club. Lorenzo picked her up and I opened the back side door of the car and he laid her on the seat.

I closed the door of back seat and hopped on the passenger seat beside Lorenzo. He came just after I closed my door. And he started the car. At first the ride was silent. But then I broke the silence.

"So! Why did Rachel never mentioned me about you?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know... maybe because we are not that close enough. But she is the best sister I could ever have." He said.

"yeah she sure is everyone's favourite." I say as I giggle.

I look outside the window and see the houses as they pass by. Houston is really pretty place.

"hey, I was thinking if you could show me around. And then probably go out for dinner tomorrow? Only if that's okay with you no pressure" he said.

I thought for it a second, I mean he looks like a nice guy and... dinner sounds good too. I mean it's weird him asking randomly, but I would love to show him around. It would be fun. And tomorrow is holiday for me anyways so that would be a good plan.

"yeah... yeah sure we can do that. And dinner sounds good too." I say and give him a smile.

"Great I'll pick you up at 4 sharp tomorrow. Also... don't make me wait I... don't have patience." He chuckles as he says those last words.

"okay sir! I'll be ready by 4." I say and laugh.

He drops me off at my place and we say our goodbyes. I hear him drive away and I reach the front door and open it. I enter the house and close the door behind me and I go to my room. I go to the washroom and remove off my makeup and change to my night clothes which is a white top and a grey pjs.

I go to my bed and switch off the lights. I get comfy with my cozy blanket and in no time sleep gets over me.

I wake up with sun kissing my face, I stretch out my body and sit on the bed for 5 minutes zoned out. I look at the clock which was hanging on top of my bookshelf it was 2 in the afternoon. I slept allot... Then I stand up and lead myself to the bathroom. I look myself in the mirror, ugh I look so hungover! I hate the next days after clubbing! My head feels like someone is poking thousand needles inside it! I quickly brush my teeth and get a hot steamy shower. I wrap a towel on my head to let it soak all the water. And wrap another on my body. I get out of there and I put on something cute. I wear a short dress with pink flower design on it and let my hair dry naturally. I go in the kitchen and make myself a cup of coffee.

I reminded myself about my plans for later. Today I am going out with Lorenzo and then have dinner with him. He is a fun guy. He is really sweet and cute. Rachel said he was here for some work. I wonder what that is, she also mentioned he keeps his life damn private. So I guess he won't really open up to me if I ask him about what he does for living. All I could think of is his beautiful light brown eyes. They told so much of emotions. Looked like uhh... deep secrets...

Oh my gosh Ruby! It's none of your business! Stop thinking of that!

I finish my coffee and go in my room and do my hair. I let my hair be in a messy bun with loose strings falling on the side of my face. I applied light make up... just mascara and a lip gloss.

As soon as I was done my phone started to buzz... it was Rachel.

"Hey! Rach! What's up" I pick up the phone and say.

"you didn't tell me that u r hanging out with my brother today?" And she came straight to the point.

"oh! Shit! I totally forgot about that. I mean I remember of going out with him I just forgot to tell you about it. I am so sorry. You know it's totally fine if you don't want me to go with him---" she cut me off.

"hey it's okay! you can go with him. Chill man I was just messing around. Also I will be busy today I got to do stuff with mom... so it would be okay you and Lorenzo hanging out besides he wouldn't even help us out for house work he finds it boring so it's good that he is hanging out with you." She says.

Awwweeee that's so sweet of her!

"oh thank god! Okay thanks for the approval. I'll show him around and then we are going for dinner so I'll come to meet you after the dinner." I stated.

"Awesome! Anyways I gotta go mom's calling me. Bye love you stay safe Windsor!" Rachel said... and she said my last name --- seriously... I roll my eyes at that.

"bye love you too!" I hang up the call and see its almost gonna be 4.

I do my final touches. I take a white sling bag, and head outside the house and close the door behind me.

There he was leaning on the car door wearing white shoes, blue jeans, with a flannel. His hair was all messy. He looks so handsome in his casual clothes!

I snap out of my thoughts.

"Hey! Ready to explore Houston?" I say as I greet him.

"Ready as always." He says and I smile at that comment.

I go towards him,

"You look beautiful by the way." He smiles as he said those words.

That made me blush.

Stupid you! Stop blushing!!!

"Thank you. You look good too." I say with a smile.

"hehe.. thanks. Shall we?" he says as he opens the door for me.

SUCH A GENTLEMAN!

"We shall." I say as I sit on the passenger seat and he closes the door. And goes to another side and opens his door and sits beside me and closes the door.

Oh boy this is gonna be a long dayyyyyy!!!!!
