-Gwen-

Waking up again I felt the same weakness from before. Not as overbearing, but it was still there. This room is cursed. I can't leave and I can't use my gifts. I needed a plan. I needed to know what happened to Rin, and I needed to escape.

The door was fixed from yesterday's events and the room was put back in order with new furniture. That was quick. Walking to the door I decided to try and open it and if it's locked, I'll lightly knock... maybe.

Before I could knock, Arowin opened the door. I felt a bit worried because I was weakened. I wouldn't be able to block him out. "You should be worried." I heard him speak in my head.

I rolled my eyes. Back to square one.

"Gweneria, the rules are different now. You'll do exactly as I say. No warnings. No room for mistakes." He threatened.

The same old bullshit. I remained silent and looked at him like he's stupid. Because he was.

"I don't have time for this. Where's Rin?" I asked, completely ignoring everything he just said.

Stepping into the room he entered my personal space to intimidate me. I glared at him. I may be weaker, but I'm still the same woman.

"What did you do to my brother?" He retorted.

I rubbed my temple to relieve stress.

"I don't know what the fuck you're talking about! His arm looked pretty fucked up, but I don't know what it is!" I said annoyed.

"Watch your mouth, Gwen." He threatened for the one millionth time. "I watched you do it, so you're going to fix it." He seethed.

"I don't know if you've noticed, but things happen when I lose control. Whatever the fuck happened to his arm is not my problem. If you weren't there to begin with, it never would have happened. Figure it out on your own, fuckface." I threw back in his face.

Gripping my upper arm he pulled me aggressively towards the bathroom. His face had changed somehow. He was colder all of the sudden. I began frantically fighting against him. It slowed him down, but I was already getting tired. My energy drained the harder I fought. I began screaming in hopes someone would hear me.

Arowin turned around and we wrestled to the floor. He placed a hand over my mouth, stopping me from screaming. He looked concerned and angry. I don't think he wanted me to make noise... With my right foot I began kicking the bathroom door, banging it loudly against the wall.

His eyes blazed at the loud banging. He quickly dragged my body up and away from the door. One hand still over my mouth, he then moved the other to grab my throat. Squeezing tightly. I could still breathe, but it was definitely much harder.

"These outbursts will end. If I have to break you to get your obedience I will. Then I'll be there after to pick up the pieces. I'm not above making you fear me Gwen. Just submit. Can't you see—" He cut himself off, closing his eyes and shaking his head.

I won't stop fighting no matter what he does to me.

I continued to glare daggers at him as I struggled to breathe. He removed his hands and placed them on the floor beside my head. He was waiting for me to accept defeat. He looked desperate, but determined. His eyes continued to flash from dark to bright. Staring up into his intense features, I could feel my walls slip as I felt some of the feelings I desperately tried to keep locked away. Blinking fast, I panicked at the feelings I was letting in.
