-Gwen-
It was the same day, but it felt like forever. Arowin and Keerly left a couple hours ago and I haven't heard anything since. The only entertainment I had was the window that looked out over a garden maze. How exciting. There's literally no one. This place was completely empty.
A soft knock immediately pulled my attention. Zinni stood in the doorway. She looked glum.
"This has some snacks and drinks in it. You're probably starving." She said quietly.
The rumors I heard about her didn't match the girl in front of me. Allegedly she was a loose cannon, a wild child, confident and spirited. This girl in front of me is not that. Either she was never like that, or she was broken to be this quiet little mouse.
Eyeing her up, I realized she wasn't a threat to me.
"You can come in. I promise I won't choke you out like your brother." I tried to ease the tension with some humor.
She hesitated, but eventually stepped in and handed me the bag.
"Thank you." I said.
"You're welcome. I know it's not much, but I could only be gone for so long before someone noticed. I just had to get what was closest." Her mood lifted a bit.
Raising a brow I looked at her with amusement.
"So you sneak out?" I smiled with a raised brow.
She looked alarmed and hurriedly word-vomited to change what she said.
"No! I don't! Please don't tell Arowin. Or even Keerly. Please, just don't tell!" She panicked.
I was a little shocked by her reaction.
"Calm down, you really are like a little mouse. I won't tell anyone. I'm in favor of women having their independence if you haven't noticed?" I laughed to ease her concern.
She cracked a small smile and then looked down at my wrist. Her smile dropped instantly. I wanted to tell her it was okay, and that it wasn't her fault, but maybe I could use this little mouse to my advantage. If I played on her guilt maybe she would feel obligated to help me or at least spill some information.
I stayed silent as she inspected my wrist. I gaged her reactions and body language. I narrowed in on her ring. Something about that ring was fishy. They all had one. I knew for a fact Arowin never wore jewlery.
Zinni looked up with a blush.
"Mouse?" She questioned.
"You just remind me of a cute little mouse. Quiet, and sneaky..." I winked at her.
She scoffed with a smile, "I may be little in size, but I'm not cute." She tried to give me her best glare, but she ended up cracking and laughed.
"If you're calling me a mouse like I'm some kind of rodent, then I shall come up with a name for you!"
"Oh is that so." I raised a brow.
She sat and pondered for a second, just staring at me. She would open her mouth to say something then she would quickly close it and continue to think. I chuckled at her weird antics.
"Hmm what's your name?" She asked.
"Um Gwen." I feigned annoyance.
She rolled her eyes, "Obviously, your full name I mean."
"A feisty mouse." I whispered with a laugh. "Gweneria Sol." I said nonchalantly.
"Hmmmmm..." she paused, "PERFECT!" She shouted, making me jump and look at her with surprise. "Sunny!"

Fantasy"Gweneria." Arowin's deep voice bounced off the walls forcing everyone to flinch by the sheer volume. My demeanor never changed. I won't roll over like a dog for him. Glaring straight into his golden eyes I smirked. "It seems you're late to the part...
