'Please, Baroness, sit, down.' Lilah commands more than offers. The Baroness stands still. 'What is the meaning of this? Is it money you want?' she asks sounding, to be honest, bored. 'This isn't about money, well partially it's more about revenge.' The Baroness quirks an eyebrow. 'Mm, how original. Did I spurn you when I fired you or when I tossed you out of the car like yesterday's lunch?' she pursed her lips slightly pretending to look like she cared. 'Your debt to me goes back way farther than yesterday. It was before I was even born.' The Baroness tilted her head. 'Oh now I am intrigued and that never happens. Do go on?'
Lilah stared at the Baroness filled with hatred. 'My mother was the Baron's girlfriend, I am their daughter. When my mother brought me here as a child it was you and your henchman here who insured we would not see the Baron. We would not receive any financial support.' The Baroness quirked an eyebrow. 'Ah yes, long lost heiress wanders in of the street and lays claim to the fortune of the father she never met. A charming tale indeed. The Baron never had a girlfriend believe me my dear my life would've been more pleasant if he had.' Lilah slides down her blazer showing the freckle on her forearm. 'Just like my fathers so my mother said.'
The Baroness could not have possibly looked more bored if she tried. 'Fascinating.' Lilah pulled her blazer back up. 'It doesn't matter now anyway.' John looks up at her. 'I remember you when your mother brought you here.' The Baroness looks at John in confusion. 'Baroness, as you remember the Baron had a few...special friends, he liked to retain.' Realisation spread over the Baroness's face. 'Ah your mother was one of my husbands whore's and you as their bastard child think you are entitled to what exactly? Hm? You will not extort anything out of me dear. You have been wasting your time.'
The Baroness had slowly been edging closer she grabbed the tape recorder tossing it into the fire. Lilah jumped in shock she had moved so fast. 'Oh dear, there goes your only evidence.' the tape recorder crackled and burned in the fire. 'What a pity.' Lilah stared at the fire and the Baroness couldn't see her face. 'It's over.' the older woman whispered it looked like Lilah was crying as the Baroness went to untie John. Victoria looked up stopping in her tracks seeing she was in fact laughing. 'Did I say something amusing?'
Lilah turned round. 'Did you know my mother often came here and that my father showed her all the secrets and hidden doors of the house? It's made getting in and out so easy I mean at first I thought just threatening you would work. But when I sent the rat you didn't leave I realised as long as you had (y/n) by your side to protect you, you wouldn't run. Then that deliciously timed photo I got of you and John I thought it'd be my key. Convince (y/n) that you were having an affair, but damn the girl really did love you. So I had the misfortune of becoming your assistant and I was a great assistant you shouldn't have sacked me.' Lilah shrugs.
'Oh well, what's done is done eh?' The baroness wrinkled her nose in disgust. 'You're mad.' Lilah chuckled. 'Takes one to know one. All I had to do was get rid of (y/n) and I knew you would crack in some way.' That's when the arrogance vanished from the Baroness's face. Lilah grinned. 'Oh yes, I managed to plant the seed of your affair in her head. All it caused was a slap and a minor argument between you both she still wouldn't leave. So I told her you thought she was a big ol leech and offered her a first-class ticket to Paris. Thank god I nailed that one down when I did or she might have been in her bed that day instead of me.'
"It's in your eyes
What's on your mind I fear your smile and the promise inside It's in your eyes What's on your mind I fear your presence, I'm frozen inside Inside"
The Baroness looked positively livid but she restrained herself. 'Then your plan has failed. I will search all of France for (y/n) until we are back together. And now your evidence is cinders.' Lilah tilted her head. 'Don't you get it? I never had the intention of ratting you out to the law for either murder, that was pure luck. My intention was always to get you locked away for murdering your equally guilty henchman.' The Baroness put a hand on her hip. 'John isn't-' Lilah jammed a knife into John's chest. The valet screamed in pain remaining unable to move.
The Baroness jumped with fright she brought her hands to her mouth letting out squeals John had only heard when Cruella set the rats on her or when the Baron hurt her immediately approaching her servant as the blood spurted from his chest he looked pale and weak. His vision blurred looking up at the Baroness who frantically tried to free him. 'Help! I need assistance!' she called for anyone that would listen. 'Oh, I think they are here for you. They recently received a phone call about a murder at Hellman Hall. Must dash!' Lilah spoke and the Baroness caught a glimpse of her smirking face before the secret passageway she had stepped into beside the fireplace closed over. Armed police burst in screaming orders telling the Baroness to hold up her hands, another demand was for urgent medical assistance to Hellman Hall.

No matter how much the Baroness screamed, cried, protested, and tried to explain no one wanted to listen to her. She was handcuffed and forced into the back of a police van roughly. Whatever became of John the Baroness was not around long enough to see it.

'Frank, I told you if you lean over the counter again you are banned. It's not hygienic to hang over the food.' you place a hand on your hip looking pissed. 'Sorry (y/n), the signal was going all funny again you know it hurts my head.' he grunts. 'Hangover my counter again and I'll hurt your head.' you warn.
