Aurora followed the Grandfather down the stairs with Philip and Crackle not far behind her.

"Let's find this culprit quickly they've put dozens of lives and jobs at stake I know it has reached all the way to the mines." Aurora sighed unhappily. "Fairy Godmothers, Flora and Merryweather you want to help me then please track the magic trail of this spell she pointed to the elderly man's well and the rocks that had turnt to gold by his sardine fish trap.

"You heard her hop to it." insisted Fauna pulling a map of the woods. She flew over to Aurora. "That's hideaway place in the woods."

"I know it's also where you met a twinning friend." Fauna responded smiling.

"Miss Grace, oh, I miss her so much." Aurora sighed.

"I'm sure your Mother Queen Leah would invite her to your wedding if you just ask, Princess Aurora." Fauna repeated. "I think there's another home right here as he said on the first bend of the River La Petite Seine and last of La Seine River bends. It's just a short horseback ride away darling Royals."

"Who's Miss Grace?" questioned Philip shook with surprise that she met somebody out in these woods.

"She's part of a Circus trope act." Aurora responded. "I heard fall into a River and rescued her. She was so timid, shy and scared but also very much a sweetheart too.

"No, it's okay, you guys go on ahead." Dahlia said. "I'm taking Dawno for a ride and to hopefully help keep those soldiers distracted for awhile too. This is your private place for you two to get away and it should stay a private place for you."

"Wow, she's one brave Rubesco girl." Philip said.

"Dahlia's always been like that." Darrella said. "Daring, brave and distractingly courageous too, Prince Philip."

"May I ride with you on Moonlight Princess Aurora?" asked Darrella.

"Absolutely," Aurora agreed. "Philip give us both a leg up will you?"

"Of course, my dear ladies." He answered regally and that is exactly what he did.

"Thank you, Philip." Aurora states as she got lifted up onto Moonlight after Darrella was seat nearer to Moonlight's neck.

Philip mounted up on Samson, and reminded him. "Now, now boy just because we're by water don't buck me off into a river, big boy."

"Is that what he did when you heard Aurora?"

"Uh, yes, because he knows I was late to something." Philip responded. Aurora chuckled. "That cloak was wet when I touched it even with Tawny dancing in it now that I think about it Philip."

"Yeah, so sorry about that, my lady." Philip apologized feeling guilty for her having touched his drenched clothes back when they first met.

"You don't have to apologize, Philip despite all the problems I had to face that day it was still quite a Magical Day in a way. If you know how to look for it, there's good in everyday that comes around. Everyday of the year is an eve of the day that's coming and in that way they're all Magic Days." Aurora replied.

Samson snorted.

"Hey, don't even think about giving me that face, Samson, you need to learn to listen boy if you want extra treats." Philip reprimanded his horse as it had turnt to look at him with very big eyes of concern. "Follow after, Aurora and Moonlight, Samson, we need to watch her and her girlfriend's backs so we'll head up the rear.

Moonlight started trotting pleasantly down the path beside the river, and Samson trailed behind her his head in low in shame as he remembered yesterday bucking his master off his back, and not being fed any carrots that evening despite the whole helping him escape from Maleficent's castle dramatic event.

Crackle roared.

"Hey, that's Tawny isn't it?" asked Darrella he was flying back hooting very loudly as if anxious. They had been riding thirty minutes. They came upon a boy with with black hair green eyes having a fishing rod in the riverside.

He looked up and asked in surprise. "So that's your owl, and oh wait, are you our Princess Aurora?"

"He's not my owl, he's wild, but friendly enough with me." said Aurora. "I am your Princess, what is your name?"

"It's Herrow." He answered.

"Do you know why all the rocks are turning gold?" inquired Darrella.

"Might have to do with my childhood friend's Mom being angry she had to move but as far as I know she can't conjure magic unless she found an item that  conjures it for her of course. Look there's Murvin and his Dad Mervin maybe you can talk to them, Princess."

"It's worth a try."  Philip spoke. "Herrow does this baby dragon hail from this area onward?"

"Yes, he does." Herrow said. "I tried to calm him down when he flew down the mountain, I found a snare round his neck. See rope mark burns." He pointed to Crackle's neck. Aurora could see it herself as soon as his body had touched the yarn he had shrieked in fright of it as soon as he touched the thing to his skin yarn felt similar to rope would. Only Aurora had been able to tell he was frightened of the yarn ball coming in contact with him thanks to Fauna's spell of gift of song over her at birth 16 years ago, Aurora had the ability to sense when any wild animal is terrified of something or someone.

"Awww, poor Crackle, I'm so sorry you got stuck in a hunting snare." Philip told him. "That's not fun for anybody whatsoever. I don't get why hunters have to use such drastic traps, hunting on your own on foot is better anyways."

"I agree Philip it's very weird and quite illogical too." says Aurora. "That's why I am never ever getting duck or pheasant or swan at our banquets, Philip."
