During lunch that day I asked Nathan if he would like to sit with my friends and I. He happily accepted. Nathan followed me over to "our" table. My friends and I always call it our table because nobody would ever sit there. We sat there because,
1.It was away from everyone else and there stupid conversations
2.It had a beautiful view of the outside world
3.We got have our own weird and usually conversations, without the thought of anybody judging us

Nathan tapped me on the shoulder

"Hey," he said I was wondering if you could help me with something?"

"Umm, sure. What's up?"
I replied

"Well, I really suck at math and I was wondering if you could stop by my house on your way home to help me with it?"
Nathan exclaimed

"Well-"
I mumbled

"Oh, it's okay I was just wondering,"
Nathan sounded embarrassed and angry

"No," I said confused, "I was just going to say I don't know where you live, but I would love to help."
I replied

My stomach was doing backflips! I couldn't believe that Nathan wanted me to help tutor him. I was so excited I could have screamed!

"Oh, right here give me your phone,"
I handed Nathan my phone. I saw that he put in his number.

"Umm, could you tell me your number so I can plug it into my phone when I get home?"
Asked Nathan

"Yeah of course," I said

I took out a piece of paper:

I gave him the paper, he smiled a little bit. I had totally forgot that me friends where there with me.

"So are you coming Rosy?" Felicia asked

"Where?" I asked still looking into Nathan's eyes.

"Only to re hottest party EVER!" Felicia said, "come on you have to come!" Felicia whined

"Okay, okay I will come," I said finally giving in, "but if I get in trouble it is on your heads!" I replied pointing to Kaytie and Felicia.

Nathan seemed to be uncomfortable sitting there just listening to our conversation. But he did look cute, just sitting there all confused.

"YEAH!" Felicia flung her arms around me in a very not so gentle hug.

I looked back at Nathan who seemed to have drown out our conversation. It looked like he was looking at something across the street and I could see the worry on his face. I poked him in the side. He jumped back in surprise and shock. With a huge smile on his face.

"Why did you do that for?" He asked

"To get your attention,"

"Well you have it, what do you want?" He seemed to enjoy our little talks.

" I was wondering if you wanted to go to a party with me, this Friday night?" I was so nervous that he would say no. But to my surprise his face seemed to light up from joy.

"I would love to," Nathan replied in a safe secure voice.
