Chapter 7

After school I went over to Nathan's to help him study for a big stupid math test.

"So Nathan tell me, if X=684 then what does Y=?" I asked

"Um, 65?," He said, "I don't know,"

"It is 77, I said, "because, you have to carry X over to the 23 and then divide by 2," I said it like it was the easiest thing in the world.

"Got it?" I asked Nathan

Before he could answer my phone rang I left Nathan's room.

"Hello," I said

"Hey Rosy, its Kaytie, I was just going to ask you if you needed a ride to the party tonight?"

I totally forgot. Felicia begged me and Kaytie to go with her to this probably lame party.

"Um, yeah sure that would be great,"
I replied shortly

"Okay see ya than, love ya!"

She hung up. I walked back into the room to find that Nathan had changed his shirt and his pants while I was out.

"Well," I said startling him, "don't you look fancy,"

"Well I was thinking why not go to that lame party," he said

"Okay then," I said, "let's get going," just then I got a text on my phone

"I'm here," Kaytie said

"Okay I'm on my way out"

Me and Nathan walked to the car. And Kaytie drove us to the party. I was expecting to see a stupid, boring, and very lame party. But what I saw it was the complete opposite. There was loud music playing, drinks and not to mention cute boys, EVERYWHERE!

I jumped out of the car, with Nathan close at my side. We walked inside the massive foyer in the house. there was a kid in the corner puking, then couple of people making out, and then you have the daredevil ones, these are the ones that jump onto the chandler, and the one that slide down the steps.

"Hey you guys," Felicia said grabbing my hand, "I'm going to steal her to dance, you," Felicia said, "got get us something to drink,"

"Okay, I guess I will talk to you guys later," Nathan said. Then he looked at me and whispered, "I will be right back," he grabbed my hand which made me start to blush.

"Okay," I whispered

Then Felicia pulled me off to the dance floor. Man me and Felicia, you better watch out for us, because when ever we are in the same room together it is like an atomic bomb of excitement, and of hormones. Felicia and I need call, "911 shorty fire burning on the DANCE FLOOR, OH, WOW, OH!"

I walked over to the snack bar to take a break, Nathan was supposed to bring us drinks. Then, I heard something coming for outside of the house. I walked outside to see that there was blood EVERYWHERE! I was about to scream when I felt Nathan's hand go over my mouth.

"Shhh," he whispered in my ear.

I looked at him. He had blood dripping down from his mouth. I was getting sick.

"Did you do this," I yelled, his hand went over my mouth but I pushed it away, "why?!"

"I had no choice," he explained

"No! You always have a choice Nathan!
And you chose wrong," I was yelling at him now but I was full of adrenaline that I had to release it somehow.

"I have to leave," he said

"No, I won't let you, you have to get blamed for this, because it was you, who did this Nathan!"

He came close cupping my face with his hands.

"I have to, please Rose, I will explain everything tomorrow, I promise," he said

I looked into his big blue eyes and he looked worried and concerned, and frankly looked as scared as I was.

"Fine, leave. but you better explain," I warned him

He pulled me into an embrace. I closed my eyes.

"Thank you, and I promise to tell you everything," he whispered

When I opened my eyes he was gone.
