Chapter 15

✨Nathan's POV✨
I hated him. From the moment I saw him I hated him, and after I saw Rose attack him with a hug. My hate grew into a hating tree, All about him. When he touched her my hatred grew and grew more! Is he doing this to make me jealous? I hope not, because I could tear him apart in a mater of seconds, literally!

Bell rang for class to be over. I waited for Rose to be ready to leave, but to no surprise Ben went over to her and started to flirt with her! I could smell the hormones coming off of them and I hated it! I walked up to them and put a fake smile on.

"Hey you guys," I said looking at Rose and Ben.

"Hey Nathan," she said looking at me, "oh, Nathan this is-"

"I know who he is," I said in a mumble, "that's Ben Walker. You have known him all of your life and he had a crush on you in pre-school, all the way up to 9th grade," I said looking a little angry.

Ben looked down at his shoes. Rose looked at me and looked mad 'what did I do Women!!' I thought to myself

Rose gave Ben a small smile and said, "could please excuse us?" Ben looked up at her and gave her a small nod.

Rose put her hand in mine and pulled me outside, of course if I didn't want to go I could easily stop her. But she was mad and I thought I will just follow her, to see what I did wrong this time.

We walked right into the woods next to our school. I never liked going into these woods, I sort of felt like something was watching me. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Rose finally stopped at a clearing in the thick woods. she released my hand, and I wish she hadn't. I felt like I couldn't move or even talk. Rose came close to me and looked into my eyes and said,"why did you do that to Ben?" What! That's what she wanted to talked about! About Ben I hated him, he made my skin crawl.

"I don't know, Rose. He just made me jealous when you hugged him and you looked at him, or even laughed at him. I just thought that you would never do that with me," I said looking down suddenly feeling vulnerable.

Rose didn't say anything she just looked at me, she put her finger under my chin and made me look at her. Looking at her made it so much harder, I saw a pain look in her eye and I knew that was because of me.

"The reasons I do those things with Ben is because, I have known him my whole life. He has been there with me through everything, he told me how he felt in 7th grade. And me being the stupid 7th grader I am, I turned him down. After I told him I didn't feel the same way, he stopped talking to me. And when I saw Ben finally talking to me I over reacted. I never liked Ben, I always thought of Ben to be my brother," Rose said looking deep into my eyes. "Trust me Nathan, you have nothing to worry ab-" Rose got cut off by a sound of a twig snapping, we both turned to find nothing.

"We should probably get out of here," I said to Rose. She grabbed my hand, and we ran back to the school. As we were running I heard a flap of wings, I stopped.

"What is it?" Rose whispered

"I don't know," I said looking up in the trees. Just then I felt somebody's hands go around my body and flew me up into the sky. I looked down to see Rose screaming. I looked up and saw white powerful wings, flying me up to the sky. I thought to myself, 'it's and angle,' I tried to loosen the grip it had on me. But every time I moved its grip got tighter and tighter.

I finally got a look at its face, and it made sense why Rose was screaming. Ben, Ben was an angle. That's why I felt hate so much, I'm a vampire and he was an angle! When we collide it is like an atomic bomb of emotions, that are mostly hatred.

'I hadn't done this in forever,' I thought to myself, but I have to get down. It took my whole strength to get my teeth out. There was pain a never thought I could feel again and just like that I had my teeth bared. I did a flip in his arms and kicked his chest, he released me, we both went falling down to the ground.

Rose was still looking up at us, she looked worried and scared. Right before I hit the ground I felt a strong pair of arms come around me, and Ben. We didn't hit the ground the person that caught us did. He through Ben away from him, I looked up at him and saw that it was Tyler that saved me. 'Great I'm never going to live this one done,' I thought to myself.

Rose ran towards me. she through her arms around my neck and was shaking, "are you okay," she asked in a breathlessly voice. I couldn't say anything I just nodded my head at her. A look of relief flooded her face. We all jumped at the sound of Ben waking up. Tyler walked up to him in angry strides. He grabbed Ben by his hair and made him stand up. Bens wings were gone.

"What are you doing her pretty boy?" Tyler asked in a low voice, "shouldn't you be up there," he said pointing to the sky, "sitting, drinking tea with your other winged pals, or are you a loner up there too?" He asked in a sarcastic tone.

Ben shook his head, and looked right at me, "I came for Rose," everyone looked at me, with a hint of worry in there face.
