Epilogue ~Kaytie Gilwash~

"She died to soon," I finished quickly stepping off of the stag. Kaytie's parents gave me a long hug and said, "thank you Ben, I'm pretty sure Kaytie would have liked that you spoke at her funeral,"

"I hope so," I said giving them a small nod, "if I didn't give a good talk, then she would probably come down from heaven and start haunting me forever!" We all laughed a respectful laugh. Kaytie would be proud of me, she would. I'm just happy that Kaytie's death was quick. But I wish she didn't leave so soon. If only. If she was still alive I would hold her close and never let her go!

But that sounds a little pushy. I mean I would be there for her and let her have all the space she wanted, but I would care for her. We had a good life ahead of us. For ALL of us! And one little mistake took it away from us. Nathan a Tyler were barely holding it together. Nathan is the one that is on the brink of insanity, he keeps saying that he heard the bomb fall. That he heard Rose scream HIS name! And he keeps beating himself up over it. I start crying as I leave Kaytie's funeral.

I felt a warm hand on my shoulder, "I'm here with you Ben," I turned around and I swear I saw her. I saw Kaytie! I called to her, "KAYTIE!?" I yelled. I felt a warm hand go over my mouth, "quiet, someone will hear you and think you are a crazy person," she said. It was Kaytie. I would recognize those brown eyes anywhere.

I pulled her into a great, big hug. She happily returned the action. I quickly pulled away looking deep into her eyes, "what? How are you still alive? I heard you die, with Felicia and Rose! EVERYONE THINKS YOUR DEAD!"

"I know, I know," she said in a low whisper, "please you have to help us," I heard somebody call my name. I turned away from Kaytie, it was Kaytie's cousins. I turned back around to tell Kaytie to run, but she was already gone. 'I will help you, I will always help you' I thought to myself.
