"Why did you do it!?" Nathan was yelling at me, of course I wasn't paying attention. You would think that Nathan would take a hint and just leave but, no. Nathan was my younger brother but he always acts like he is older than me, and I hate it so much!
"I don't know, Nathan. It just seemed like the right thing to do at the time," I replied not even listening to his explanation.
"Are you even listening?" Nathan said As he looked at me completely annoyed. I looked straight at him and said, "No." Nathan grunted in frustration.
"Sorry Nathan but you sound like a robot," I said, "just start at the beginning, will ya," I asked.
"Fine, I was saying that you can't hurt Rose anymore, just so you can get to me!" He said, "Rose is off limits to you,"
I rolled my eyes. Nathan always fell in love with humans, it's actually kind of sick. I never fall in love, I always thought that girls are so shallow and always needed to be pampered or loved 24/7 of everyday. So I keep my distance from them. "Fine! I will stay away from Rose," I said.
"Good," Nathan said, "now could you please tell me, what you meant by, Lily trying to killing me?"
"It's pretty self explanatory Nate," I said, "I was going to talk to her about you and about how much you loved her. So I was next to her door and she was talking to her farther,"
~FLASHBACK TO LONDON 1847~
"Are you sure you can handle him," lilies father said in a deep voice.
"Of course I can father, he loves me. And that's the gross part, Nathan likes all of the romantic junk, and I hate it." Lily said in a disgusting voice.
"I know, sweetheart, just hang on a little longer. He said that he will be living tonight, you need to stop that from happening." He said
"Yes father, Nathan will have a hard time leaving this," she said pointing to her body.
"Let's hope so, you know what will have to happen if you fail," he said
"Yes I do know, farther." Lily said looking to the ground, looking a little pale
"Good, now hurry, we must not waste time." He said
Lily ran out of her room down to Nathan's. A few minutes passed and I saw Nathan run out of the castle. Relief ran through my body. Lily came out of the room looking a little scared, she walked into her room.
"HE LEFT!" Lilies dad yelled. He hit Lily on the side of the face. She fell to the ground and started to cry. "You know what I have to do to you now," he said in a deep voice.
Lily looked up with pain and fear on her face. "No father please don't do it, I will find another vampire, I can seduce Tyler. I know he likes me almost as much as Nathan liked me," Lily pleaded.
"No!" He said in a deep voice, "you have failed me, now you must pay the price," he said grabbing lilies hair and pulling her out of the room down the hallway. With Lily screaming the whole way. They walked into a strange room, Tyler didn't follow them, but he heard Lily give off a blood curtailing scream. Then it stopped and there was silence in the castle.
~PRESENT TIME~
"So why did you kill her, if her father did it anyway?" Nathan asked confused.
"I thought that too, but Lily walked out of the room and went back to hers, I walked in and took a knife and stabbed her in the chest,"
Nathan looked sick, and looked like he would puke. "I'm so sorry, Nathan," I whispered.
He looked up, at me.
"It's okay, thanks for telling me. at least I can get over her, knowing that she was going to kill me in the end," Nathan said with a laugh.
"Yeah, well at least you have Rose now," I said smiling at him.
"Yeah, I just wish she understood, she just makes me crazy!" Nathan said. I looked at Nathan with a small smirk on my face.
"What?" Nathan asked
"Nothing it's just when a girl makes you crazy, then it means that you love her,"
Nathan's eyes widened at the sudden realization of what I just told him.
"I love her," Nathan whispered looking at me.
"Yeah, I think you do," I said with my small smirk on my face.
Nathan jumped up, "I'm going to go see if she is up yet," Nathan said running out of the room.
I laid down on my bed and looked up at the ceiling, 'I really do hope Rose understands what Nathan is, and is okay with it,' I thought to myself. slowly I felt myself drifting off to a cold sleep.
