emersyn was all ready for school. her and luke hadnt talked since theyre fight on friday and they didnt intend to for a while.

"how are you going to get to school" luke asks, flipping through the channels on the tv

"oh i dont know, i think im gonna get my one night stands to pick me up" emersyn says sarcastically "im walking"

"hey before you go, i didnt bolt, and im not like dad. the girls parents hated me and told me to bolt. i wanted to stay, get the backstory before holding grudges" he says

"bye lucas" she grabs her keys and leaves

she starts walking towards the school as cars passed her by.

she gets to the school after 20 minutes and of course she was late. stupid luke. well no, stupid emersyn for thinking he wasnt gonna overreact after being with boys for 4 hours.

she takes a deep breath before entering the classroom, knowing that everyone was gonna look at her as soon as she entered

as expected, everyone looked at her and mr.miller crossed his arms at her

"why are you late" he asks

"i had to walk" she sits down next to chris

"why?" the teacher asks

"because my brother is busy and my mom is dead and i have daddy issues so no one could bring me to school, there, do you need to see my moms grave now or something? or do you need to see my dads other family?" she rants, slamming her notebook down on the desk

the whole class goes silent as emersyn rethinks everything she had just said

no one at the school other than the triplets knew about her family, and now the entire class knew, and soon, the entire school was gonna know too.

"sorry" she says quietly, sinking into her seat

"okay uh, thats fine. just try not to be late next time" the teacher says

the teacher keeps talking as emersyn feels people looking at her from time to time

her class ends after 40 minutes. she walks out with an embarrassed expression on her face as she hears quiet whispers around her

"did your dad really leave?" this one boy asks

"yes her dad left, stop" chris says, trying to pull her away from all the ruckus "you okay?" he asks as they go to a less populated area

"what do you think?" she looks at him "ive only been here for two weeks and everyone is talking about me already"

"what happened after we brought you back home?" chris asks

"well luke thought i hooked up with either you or matt and we got into a fight and we havent talked since friday" emersyn says "and i said something you didnt have to know but now you do"
