emersyn was on her bed with her dog, weenie, this time she was actually sick with an actual cold.
"LUKE" emersyn yells
"what?" luke asks, walking into the room
"can you bring me ice cream" she smiles
"dude, you've eaten three things of ice cream. there are starving children in africa" he fights
"listen, i really wish i could end the world hunger, but i cant, so please bring me ice cream" she answers
"cows must envy your stomach" he walks out
"they do, i love you!" she yells slightly
"youre gonna get sicker" luke gives her her ice cream
"uhm, so?" emersyn opens the tub
"right" he says "hey uhm, have you talked to matt, or nick or chris?"
"no" she answers
"emersyn. if you dont talk to them im taking your phone away" he reprimands
"ill talk to th-" she starts, her phone starts ringing, the contact name 'matt🫀' on the screen "speak of the devil"
"answer" luke leaves
emersyn hesitates and hits the answer button, the facetime connecting
"hey" matt says
"hi" emersyn answers
"uhm, how are you?" he asks
"im okay, im actually sick now and i have eaten three tubs of ice cream and i am eating my fourth one. what about you?" she says
"wait have you eaten like three giant tubs of ice cream or those small ones?" he chuckles
"small ones" she answers "sorry about last week, i was being a dramatic girlfriend and best friend"
"hey its fine, i have been wallowing over you ever since i got on the plane, i swear to you i almost cried" he says
"yeah me too and then i got mad at luke in the car for asking too many questions" emersyn smiles back "hey where are you?"
"uh, on your apartments roof" matt squints, smiling slightly
"LIAR" emersyn yells at her phone
"im not kidding, come up here to see three boys standing on the roof waiting for you" he says
"im coming, be careful chris can fall" she hangs up
she doesnt even put on shoes, she immediately runs to the elevator and goes up to the 10th floor. she opens the door that leads to the roof and sees 3 boys standing there smiling
"hi" matt says
"HOLY SHIT" emersyn yells, running to matt and clinging his arms around his neck, him wrapping his arms around her and picking her up
"dude the favoritism is sad" nick sighs
"nick, shut up and let me hug my girlfriend" matt says
"im just saying" nick scoffs
"nick i was just gonna hug you, calm down" emersyn frees herself from matts grip, hugging nick "i missed you most"
"oh yeah i know sweetheart" nick chuckles "i missed you too"
"what about me?" chris frowns
"im coming chris" emersyn hugs him "i missed you"
"i missed you too" chris says "can i go play mario kart in your living room"
"i want to go too!" nick gasps
"yeah, you have your key right?" she asks them
"yep, chris lets go" nick says
"i am so gonna win" chris follows after his brother
"yeah right" nicks voice fades as the door closes
"i cant believe youre here!" emersyn says, jumping on matt again and hugging him
"me niether" matt smiles "can i kiss you now?"
"oh, yeah" she pulls away, kissing him shortly "why do we always have to wait for your brothers to leave so we can kiss"
"because they find us disgusting" matt kisses her again "but i like annoying them"
"yeah but we dont annoy them enough" emersyn answers "are you going back to LA?"
"do you want me to go back?" he raises his eyebrows
"no! im just asking so i can be ready to save my tears" she says
"well were not going back anytime soon" he looks at her "youre very smiley"
"im happy!" she exclaims "oh shit"
"what?" he asks
"im sick, and i kissed you, so youre probably gonna end up sick too" she reprimands
"yeah well i dont care, we can eat ice cream together now" he smiles "what do you wanna do?"
"well i was cuddling with weenie before you called me" she answers
"do you wanna cuddle with me?" he asks
"well, weenie is a better cuddle buddy if im being honest. she doesnt move as much as you do" emersyn says
"hey! i dont move that much" matt fights
"yeah right! matt dont lie to yourself, you know its true! whenever were sleeping or watching a movie you move so much its annoying" she defends
"i thought you loved me" he deadpans
"i do love you" she answers
"yeah well, i love you too" he sighs
