emersyn got out of her brothers car and walked inside. as much as she begged to not go to school, luke made her go. 
she walked to her locker and opened it, grabbing her books.
she dreaded knowing that she had to go to class with matt, she felt like running away and never coming back. 
she walked to the classroom and opened the door, matt was already sat down at the table, using his phone as he waited for the teacher to arrive 
she takes a deep breath and sits down next to him, she wouldve sat down somewhere else but the seats were assigned now. 
"hey" matt says 
"uh, hi" emersyn answers
"can i, can i talk to you outside?" he sighs
"yeah sure" she gets up
they both walk out of the classroom, an awkward silence filling the air
"im sorry" matt says
"no im sorry, i didnt trust you" emersyn replies
"but i shouldve told you who rachel was" he says
"yeah but i should trust you more" she replies
"oh my god emersyn im so sorry" he chuckles, hugging her
"its fine" she hugs him back "i was being unreasonable"
"but i missed the concert you were really looking forward to" he mumbles into her shoulder
"its fine! dont worry" she smiles "lets not fight again, please? i hate fighting with you"
"i second that" he pulls away, kissing her shortly "i love you"
"i love you more" she says "do you wanna skip school altogether?"
"hell yeah, lets just tell nick and chris" matt says

emersyn and matt were at the entrance waiting for nick and chris. once they got there, they got in the car, the triplets in their usual seats and emersyn in the back next to nick.
they go to the triplets house and sit on the couch. emersyn plays her comfort movie, 10 things i hate about you, for them to watch.
as their watching the movie, emersyn chuckles. not a low chuckle, but an audible chuckle that everyone could hear
"what're you laughing about?" matt asks
"do you guys know that i wrote poems for matt before we started dating and never showed them to him" emersyn says
"what?" chris laughs
"youre lying" nick gasps
"show them to me!" matt exclaims, grabbing her phone and opening it
"no! theyre too cheesy!" she tries to grab her phone back
"GUYS I FOUND THEM" matt yells "shit its a locked note"
"bitch" she grabs her phone
"dude ill pay you fifty dollars for you to read those out loud" chris says
"no amount of money will make me read those poems, nice try though" she smiles
"that is so not fair" chris crosses his arms 
"cry about it" she shrugs

TIME SKIP!
during the movie, all of them fell asleep but matt. emersyns head was on his shoulder.
he lifted her head softly, trying not to wake her up, which he succeeded at. he carried her bridal style to his room. he lifted his covers with his foot, setting her down on the bed gently. 
he closed his door and turned of the lights, getting into the bed next to her, facing her.
he smiled to himself as he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. 
"i am so lucky" he thinks to himself
