matt and emersyn were lying on his bed, him on his phone and her on her computer.
meanwhile matt was texting someone, (emersyn didnt know who), emersyn was working on her english essay.
"hey matt?" emersyn asks
"yeah?" matt asks, his eyes glued to his phone
"could you proof read this for me?" she asks
"uh yeah" he puts his phone down, grabbing her computer "hey is it okay if i miss rehearsal for tomorrows concert?"
"uhm, sure, but why?" she asks
"im just gonna go out with an old friend" he shrugs
"oh, whats their name?" she asks
"her name is rachel" matt says
"uhm, yeah thats fine" emersyn says "is the essay fine?"
"yeah you can turn it in now" he hands her the computer, going back on his phone
emersyn shifted uncomfortably, putting the computer in her backpack.
she wasnt jealous - nevermind, she was - but it wasnt a toxic jealous, it was more of a worried jealous. she didnt know this girl, what if she was prettier than emersyn? what if matt preferred her over emersyn?
she wasnt gonna interrogate matt, she didnt want to he that girl, she was gonna (try) to stay calm.
"im gonna go home" emersyn says, getting off the bed and putting the backpack on
"oh, okay" matt says "bye, love you"
"love you too" she walks out of the room
she pokes her head in to nicks room, seeing nick and chris lying down on the bed
"hey emmy, whats up?" chris asks
"nothing, i just wanted to say bye" she shrugs
"bye, see you tomorrow?" nick asks
"oh yeah about that, luke and i will come pick you up cause matt isnt gonna go to the rehearsal" she says
"why the fuck is he not coming?" nick asks defensively
"hes just meeting up with a friend, hes gonna be at the concert" she answers
"and youre letting him?" chris asks
"guys i promise im fine with it" she shrugs
"wait, did he say the friends name?" chris asks
"yeah her name was rachel or something" emersyn says "anyways i have to go, bye, love you guys" she leaves
nick looks at chris with a confused expression on his face
"why the hell is he meeting up with his ex girlfriend?"
