The Challenge: Ride or Dies

Episode 6

Ryan's POV:
As I am watching the elimination, Justin pulls me aside to ask me if my brother is okay since he seemed off a little bit ago. I know leaving the Flash and Titans at the same time has taken a toll on Syn but now that Justin has mentioned it, Syn has not looked like himself all day today. He punched through another punching bag, which I know sounds odd to say but has happened a lot since he bulked up in Australia. Syn, while I love him, tends to bottle shit in and never tells X or I and it bothers us both. I look up to see Jakk and Laurel beat Kim and Colleen and my focus shifts to Syn.

I go to run back to the villa and I can hear Faysal, Tori, and Jordan running to catch up with me. I sprint through the front door of the villa and hear Syn singing and instantly know what is going on with him. I overheard Jakk talking about how he got the better of my brother but did not know how. I burst into the music room and see my brother's pupils shrink and his body sway. I know this is bad so I try to yell for him but he collapses almost instantly. I run over to him to make sure he doesn't hit his head and luckily, I make it. Tori, Faysal and Jordan run into the room and gasp.

Tori: What happened?

Ryan: Syn was singing Good Enough and passed out.

Jordan: I told him not to perform that because this has happened before.

Tori: Wait, when?

Faysal: I heard about this from Devin. Syn was staying with Jordan after Jesse's breakup and passed out during the song.

Ryan: And you did not think to tell anyone about this?

Jordan: You all know how Syn is. He did not want to burden you all with this. Wait, Faysal, what are you doing here? I thought you and Syn hated each other.

Faysal: Oh we don't hate each other. We have a unique bond.

Ryan: Are you and my brother fucking?

Tori: Ry, that's out...

Faysal: Yes.

All: What?!?!

Faysal: Yeah. He's gonna kill me for telling you this, but we hooked up at the reunion last season and have hooked up a couple of times since then.

Jordan: Does Christian know?

Faysal: He does. He's joined us once.

Tori: Are you bi?

Faysal: No. Syn and I realized that there is a lot of sexual tension between us and it is healthier to hook up than bottle it in. Ry, I am sorry for throwing you in. Syn and I thought it would be better if we didn't announce our partnership in front of the house. I never wanted you gone.

Justin: Ryan, is Syn... what the hell happened?

Ryan: He collapsed while performing.

Tori: What is going to happen?

Justin: I'm paging medical right now to take Syn to the hospital and we will go from there. Ry, do you want to go with him?

Tori: I will go. Ryan, you need to stay here.

Ryan: He's my brother. My protector. I need to be there for him...

Jordan: I agree with Tori. Look, you are a wreck right now and the last thing Syn is going to want is to see his brother worried about him.

Faysal: Tori and Justin, take Syn to the hospital. Jordan, come with me. Ryan, stay here and collect yourself. If you are anything like Syn, your protective nature is a force to be reckoned with and we need your hurricane to settle.
