He wasn't expecting to see it again so soon.

That haze. That purplish-red haze.

But he felt in control. Just... distorted. It was hard to explain. There was a dull headache starting in his head, too.

'Scott?' He could hear Grian's voice. Right. The five of them were in here.

And it seemed like he'd gotten the curse.

He tried looking up, but as soon as he locked eyes with the others watching him, intrusive thoughts started plaguing his mind. He had to look down to the floor to stop himself from acting on his urges.

'I've... got it.' Scott managed to say to the group. 'This... this reminds me so much of when I failed it before.'
'What do you mean, when you failed it before?' Jimmy spoke.
Oh great.

'...not the boogeyman.'
Was it just him, or did Etho always announce early?
'Are you sure?' Impulse replied to the white-haired man. 'You said that pretty fast.'
'Yeah.'
'Well I'm not one either. We should go back to the othe-'
'Hey guys!' Etho and Impulse saw their allies approaching.
'Hey you two! ...weren't you meant to stay at base?' Impulse questioned them.
'Well Tango wanted to go on a mission-'
'Actually we're checking if Jimmy is okay. Maybe we'll recruit him.' Tango cut over his eagle-winged friend.
'Right. Jimmy's only ally when he visited us was Pearl, and she's gone now.'
It was true that the two had mentioned where their base was, and didn't say about any other allies. 'Will you two be okay by yourselves? There could be boogeymen about now!' Impulse said, rightfully concerned.
'It's fine! I'm very good at pvp, anyway.' False reassured.
'We'll be off now.' Tango announced, walking north, with False following.
'Let's go back to base.' Etho decided.

Scott wanted to kill someone so badly. But who could he even kill? He wasn't going to hurt his friends, he didn't want to go after Fwhip's group, and he had no clue where anyone else was. He was currently sitting in the caves, trying his hardest not to leave. He'd probably just die down here, not getting a kill. At least he knew there was a next life.
But he wanted to kill someone so so badly...

'Why was I the only one surprised when Scott said he got the curse *again*?' Jimmy asked Martyn and Grian. Fwhip had gone back to his home in case Scott decided to go after the Mountain Alliance.
'Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh-' Martyn stalled. How in the world could he answer something like that?
'Has this happened before or something? Another death game?'
Grian gulped. No point hiding the truth now. 'Yes.'
'What.' Jimmy's voice was filled with disbelief. 'How many have I been in before now...?'
'Two. Ironically, you were an ally of mine in both of them. Nobody remembers the previous games apart from people who win, and Martyn somehow. Though Martyn probably doesn't remember that you were our ally in the last life game.'
'Wait what he was? I thought there were just 3 of us?' This was news to Martyn.
'Well you do only remember from when you got the curse onwards. And by then, Jimmy was already dead.'
'Well this is a lot!' Jimmy said. 'Wait so Scott won?'
'Well I did too, but yeah. I won the first game, Scott won the second, and Martyn remembers part of the second one.'
'Ah okay!' Jimmy seemed surprisingly fine despite just being told that he was in a constant cycle of being part of the life games.

Scott couldn't take it anymore.
This curse was so much stronger than he'd realised, and he could tell that his sanity was dropping with each moment. He could no longer hold himself back from slowly going up the mine staircase, up to where the others probably still were.
Halfway up, though, he began smelling the unmistakable scent of blood. New blood, too.
He began to run up.

There was yet another knock on the door. To be fair, Jimmy was a bit tired of the knocking. It was probably Fwhip anyway, so he opened the door without hesitation.
To his surprise though, in front of him were False and Tango. 'Oh hey you tw-'

Grian watched as Jimmy opened the door, before stumbling back, clutching his side as blood began to pour out. 'JIMMY!'
The attackers paused for a moment, seemingly shocked to see that someone else was in the house. Grian guessed that they hadn't seen him nor Martyn when Jimmy opened the door.
He ran to the door to block a hit by the blonde-haired lady using his diamond axe. 'Go somewhere else!'
'I don't think we will.' The woman said, smiling. She kicked, pushing Grian on to the floor of the house.
'I get one, you get the other?' Tango spoke, no emotion in his voice.
'Deal.' She replied, throwing her pickaxe. It landed in a way that trapped Grian by acting like a clamp across his neck. Tango calmly walked towards Jimmy, his sword already half-coated in the blood of the man.
'Oh no you don't!' Martyn shouted. He ran and tackled Tango to the floor, sword flying off to next to the mine entrance. He managed to dislodge the pickaxe too, just in time to block one of False's punches. But False grabbed onto the pickaxe and yanked it from Martyn's hands. 'You're here too Martyn?' False spoke.
'Yeah.' Martyn simply replied before pulling out his iron sword.
Grian managed to stand, but was immediately hit back down by Tango, who used his iron axe to cut Grian's left arm. 'Agh-'
Martyn turned to see, only to have his right arm punctured by the pickaxe. He dropped his sword out of reflexes, and Tango gladly picked it up.
'We're gonna die, aren't we?' Jimmy managed to speak. He had almost collapsed, sitting slightly slumped against the wall, with one hand clutching his wound.
Tango approached him, grinning. He raised his sword before using his force to drive straight down into Jimmy.
It did not reach Jimmy.
Jimmy watched as Tango's blood spluttered out, before his body fell limp to the ground.

Scott had reacted on his instincts. First, he'd seen the sword, and then he'd seen the scene before him. Without thinking, he grabbed the sword and ran towards Tango, inflicting such a deep wound that it killed him almost instantly. He laughed maniacally.

<Tango was slain by Smajor1995>

Scott turned to the Woman. He still felt intense bloodlust, and ran towards her, ready to kill. She could barely block him and quickly realised that she would lose this battle.
She ran away, out of the house.

'Scott?' Grian winced while speaking.
Scott turned to him. 'We're safe now!' He spoke, yet Grian noticed something gravely wrong.
His left eye was magenta instead of red, and looked as if it was clouded with a purple mist.
Purple.
A colour Grian knew too well.

Yup. I introduced Tango and proceeded to kill him off- (him going after Jimmy specifically before Scott killing him was all very purposeful heheheh)
And also I gave Scott one of my personal favourite headcanons which will be explained next chapter!
Also, 3 boogeymen for session 3! How fun :D
We've got 16 people left and I still haven't officially introduced some really prominent people. Oops-
