And I ain't gotta tell him,
I think he knows.********
"I didn't realize how much I've missed this place until now." Kian said while looking around the FMS campus.
Zoya hummed in agreement as her eyes also roamed around. They were sitting in the college canteen, where they had spent countless evenings.
They both had come to pick up their degree. They met their professors and the dean before deciding to grab something from the canteen.
"What's up with Sehrish?" He asked as they drove back to Zoya’s home.
"I have finalized her school. She is joining in March." She told him.
"Is she excited?"
"Absolutely not, she is dreading it."
Kian laughed and pulled brakes outside her building.
"Come up," She offered him.
"Not today. I have to take mom to a relative's house. But are you free tomorrow? I have something to tell you." He nervously said.
Zoya raised her an eyebrow. "Are you getting married?"
"No," He chuckled.
"Then? Did you fall in love?" She joked.
Kian's expression turned serious. "Something like that."
She gasped. "What? Really?"
"I will tell you tomorrow." He said.
"Okay, and by the way, I have something to tell you as well." She bit her lips. She wanted to tell him about Shahveer. Malti and Aarti already knew, but Kian had no idea. And she didn't want to keep such an important development in her life from her best friend.
"What?" He curiously asked.
"I will tell you tomorrow." She picked up her degree from the backseat and stepped out of the car. Giving him one last wave, she went inside.
Malti and Sehrish had gone over to Aarti's place because Avni and Sehrish were missing each other. So instead of going into her empty home, she maneuvered her feet towards Shahveer's apartment. It was Saturday and she knew he was at home.
"Hi," She chirped when he opened the door.
And her smile was enough to make him grin. He let her inside and closed the door.
"What were you doing?" She put her degree and handbag on the table.
"Just editing some pictures." He shrugged and eyed the degree. "What is that?"
"My MBA degree. I went to the college today to pick it up."
He picked it up and read the contents in it. "2019-2021?" He asked. "You did your MBA in 2019?"
