CHAPTER 27: THE BEAST NO LONGER LIES DORMANT

Porco Galliard was born into a very wealthy family. His brother, Marcel, served as a firm guide for him, he was like a role model. Someone to look up to. Following his death, Porco became a colder version of his once playful persona, choosing to adopt certain characteristics of his brother's personality from which he could hide.

"Run..." She commanded. A few uncertain looks were thrown around. "Are you deaf? I said RUN!!!" As the heroes reorganized themselves, a knife flew past her and impaled itself onto one of the pro heroes' arm. They were under attack.

"They warned you Y/n!" Porco shouted.

Some of the flying nomus arrived at the scene, prompting the remaining heroes to scatter around. Panic in their voices as they realized that they were not be enough. Shoto and Tenya were escorted out of the way and onto a 'safer' position, however Deku and Y/n were left behind, as they had their way blocked by a nomu and the mystery attacker.

"Y/n you have always been like a sister to me!" Porco shouted while contemplating his options, his hand was extended, ready for her to take... so why was she hesitating? He had been instructed to "bring her home', whatever that meant. He had not been instructed to hurt her, let alone kill her.
Her friend was a different thing. The green haired boy could perish for all he cared.

His voice got more impatient. "What is wrong with you?!" Why was she not acting like herself?

"Don't." Deku whispered as he sensed the girl's erratic breathing. "Please."
The two were back to back, with himself facing the nomu while she had her eyes on the man. He didn't know who he was, but he assumed Y/n must've known him from her hometown. He realized then, that Y/n had not been fully honest with any of them.

Then, a flash of color lit up the sky, as Endeavor entered the scene. He took out the nomu that was terrorizing Deku and basically incinerated it. He continued by doing the same to some of the other nomus present. This allowed the other pros to fight back. Things were starting to look up with his arrival. But that was soon going to change.

"I thought you liked what we did, Y/n!" Porco shouted as he made a last attempt to gain her trust back. It was useless, she didn't budge. "I see now." He said as he saw how she got in front of the freckled boy to protect him. "You've changed..."

In an instant the sky lit up, as a result of him slicing his own hand open with a knife. An explosion followed soon after and Y/n had just enough time to create a small "prison" out of her crystals. While it was big enough to fit both Deku and her, they weren't exactly confortable.

As the dust cleared a figure emerged.

"What is that?" Deku signaled, making Y/n move around to try and catch a glimpse of what he had seen. It walked on all fours and was the shape of a lion. Only much bigger.

'That's him." She wiggled herself into a more confortable position. Deku sensing her intentions urged her to stay where they were.

"Y/n it's dangerous-"

"It's fine Deku. It's not the first time I've done this." She opened one of the sides and got out. "Besides... they don't stand a chance." She looked back at him and smiled, then she frowned. "You're staying here."

Deku thought of a good excuse to return to the fight as he feared for her safety and well-being. "But the oxygen-"

"That won't be a problem." As she said so she closed the prison back up, essentially trapping Deku. "You'll be safer in there, promise." She mouthed, as the crystal's thickness basically insulated the person inside from any heat or sound waves.

"Porco!" She looked up at the class four titan he had produced. He prepared himself to swat her away like a fly, only to be stopped by a transformation explosion.
