Chapter 16 - I Want Out
Autumn's P.O.V.
I was just seconds away from ripping my hair off from my head.
I watched as Alpha's continued to roar and yell at each other back and forth, some of them actually slamming their fist or palms down onto the desk to where I can actually hear and see the crack.
In the corner of my eyes, I could see Alex and my father standing there, just looking at the Alpha's with no respect.
I sigh and let all my anger I've been harbouring out.
I shot up from my chair, managing to knock it down onto the floor, with a loud crash. I slam my fist onto the table, cracking it the rest of the way, splitting it down the middle, resulting for the table to fall onto the floor. All Alpha's stop yelling before they separated to different ends of the room, staring at me in fear.
"That's enough! I've had enough of your bickering! None of this will get us anywhere if you all do nothing but fight!" I roar. My father was by my side immediately, his hands on my shoulders. I close my eyes and breath in and out.
I re-open my eyes and noticed each Alpha standing in the room, looking down at their feet with only guilty expressions. I lift my hand up as the table comes back up and joins together as one piece again. I use my magic to lift the chairs up, along with the files that were filled with reports and information, settling everything carefully and perfectly back together before I slump back down into my chair, my hands over my eyes.
I move my hands away and stood back up.
"Look, I respect all of you Alpha's standing in this room, but seeing as we are all mature enough, and all old enough, this fighting and bickering has got to stop. We are all civilized enough to sit down in one room and communicate with each other without having to try and to jump over the table to choke the other Alpha's. I am sorry for having to snap and scare you guys, but we do not have enough time to stand here and fight over what we think on what is best to do for right now," I said as the Alpha's took their seat once again.
"We apologize, Alpha. You are right, we shouldn't have let this happen. It has gone to far. All of us in this room are friends and we should treat each other like how we do outside of this room," said Alpha Balder. I glance over at him and nod.
"Alright, now, can you please just give me your reports on your scouts so far," I said as I placed the pen in my hand and began writing down the reports as the Alpha's one by one tell me their reports.

I was standing in the conference room, with only Alex.
"We need to talk, Autumn," he said. Something about those words made my stomach turn in an uneasy feeling.
"What is it?" I asked, glancing nervously at him. He looks like what he wanted to say was something he never planned on saying. The way his face was covered in pain as his eyes showed nothing but regret.
"I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore," he whispered, looking anywhere but me.
"What do you mean?" I asked, looking at him.
"This, us, I can't do it anymore. I love you Autumn, but I can't do it anymore. All of this, I - I just can't," he said, glancing up at me. I let my eyes fall to the ground as I sniffed back the tears. I knew it. I knew it was too good to be true. Everyone I loved seemed to be taken away from me. I knew the whole mate thing had been a bad idea.
