Chapter 6 - Ready Or Not? Here I Come...

Autumn's P.O.V.

     I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. I am now a officially mated wolf. I turned around and saw Alex still sleeping peacefully. I watched as his muscular chest rise up and down in a peaceful rhythm. Last night, my dad, Lani, Luca, and I came over to have dinner with Alex's family, except Annalise and Johnathan. They had to go back to college or they'll be kicked out of the school. I offered to talk to the Dean to let them stay home for one more day but they shut the offer down. When Alex's parents, my dad, Lani, and Luca saw me, their eyes widened. They realized that our scent was mixed together, we have finally finished the last stage of the mating process. Today we are going to announce that I've found my mate. Alex's pack will be joined along with my pack, in my house.

     I got out of Alex's arms, slowly, not wanting to wake him up. As I stood up and stretched, Monica, called out to me as I got an uneasy feeling in my guts.

     'Autumn...' said Monica.

     'I have a uneasy feeling abut today...' she said.

     'Same here. What do you think it is?' I asked.

     'Use your powers, it'll save us a a lot of time,' she said.

     I didn't reply back to her as I wrote a note for Alex and slipped out of his room, after I pulled on my clothes from last night. I looked around in his hallway and teleported myself home, to save time. I had a bad feeling that something bad was going to happen today. When I opened my eyes, I was home again, in my room. First, I showered and pulled on gray sweat pants, a white t-shirt, and white nike's. I teleported myself where my boundaries were, the boundaries that separated my land and the unmarked territory. A few miles away was Alpha Balder's territory, but there still was a good amount of unmarked territory between us. I leaned up against a tree with my eyes closed, arms crossed over my chest, and my legs crossed. I listened. Far, far away, I heard thumping noises. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. I listened more closer, it was the sound of paws...and growling, vicious growling. My eyes snapped open when there was a howl. Rogues. My pack members weren't able to hear it, but since I was on my boundary, I could hear it.

     Thirty minutes later, I heard thumping from behind me. I turned around, ready to attack, but I stopped when I saw my scouters. Their eyes quickly widened at the sight of me. All three of them went behind a tree and shifted. The three men came out, in shorts only, and got down on one knee. I sensed the fear coming rolling off from them in waves. What the hell? My men never feared me.

     "A-Alpha A-Autumn..." they stuttered.

     "Yes?" I said in a soft tone. They got up on their feet and stared at me, more fear rolling off in waves.

     "What's wrong? You guys never fear me..." I trailed off. They all looked at each other, unsure of who should tell me the news.

     "Alpha, a small group of wolves crossed our boundaries on the west and they've surrounded Luca and Lani, they're not rogues...they belong to Sundown Pack," the second one whispered, but I heard him loud and clear.

     "WHAT?!?!" I roared, thunder crackled through the sky at the same time. All three men flinched. All three of them looked up at the sky and saw how dark it was, with thunder crackling through the sky. How dare these wolves cross my boundaries and attack my family!

     All three of them held on to my shoulder as I teleported to the west side of my land. My eyes zoned in on the wolves ahead of us, I could see Lani and Luca holding on to each other, crying, fear rolled off of the both of them. I looked around the park for their bodyguards, I found the guards to the side, injured, but trying to get up.
