Chapter 9 - On And Off Switch Of Fire
Autumn's P.O.V.
"You're just like her," I heard him whisper before I blacked out. Fuck, not this crap again. I sighed and let the blackness over whelm me. One question ran through my mind...
What the hell did I just experience?
Out of no where, I was blinded by a bright light. My eyes slowly adjusted to the light, even though it was complicated. I looked around the white walls, hell, even the floor was white. Where am I?
"Hello?" I asked; my voice echoing throughout the bright room.
"Turn around," said a melodic voice. That voice somehow...made me feel safe...and warm? I don't know. I turned around and looked at the lady in-front of me. I studied her features for a while, she had stormy grey eyes, like mine. My eyes were a mixed color, making it a soul-piercing color, but Alex says it's more like a ocean blue. I got the blue color from my dad and the darker/grey shade of color from my....
"Mom?" I croaked.
The lady smiled, showing me her perfect teeth. "Autumn, my baby girl, you remembered me."

I fell down to the chair behind me, holding on to Autumn's scorched hand. I knew I shouldn't be touching her, since she was fragile after burning like a match stick, but I needed to make sure she was okay, and that I was positive she'll come back to me. God, that was probably the scariest thing I've ever experienced. I looked over at Autumn's father and studied him. He seems to know the fact that Autumn is part Guardian, so maybe I'll ask him.
"Greg?" I asked, using his name. When he was Alpha, he was called Alpha Greg, but since he gave up the title, and Autumn took over, he was no longer Alpha.
He looked over at me. "Yes?" he asked.
"Do you know what the hell just happened?" I asked. He sighed and ran a hand through his slightly grey hair before looking back at me.
"No, I've never seen anything like that, but, things like this will always happen. Even when Autumn was younger, she'll usually black out. It's either she's getting a new power, or something went wrong," he said. I sighed and looked down at Autumn. Out of no where, her body turned on fire again, I screeched when the fire burnt my hand.
"Fuck!" I exclaimed whilst cradling my burnt hands. Greg immediately rushed me over to the sink and cooled my hands down with cold water. I sighed in relief once my hands had finally cooled down.

A week had past since Autumn had lit on fire, well, she still is. She's like a forever lit candle, she hasn't once burned out yet, which is scaring me. Her body adjusted to it, since she no longer burns in the fire, she burns along with the fire, if that makes sense.
I sighed while running a hand through my hair. When will she wake up? Especially with the racing championships coming up, plus the first quarter of school is finishing up this week, meaning testing week is coming up. Fuck! Will fate stop throwing curve balls at us?
During the whole week I couldn't touch her, or I'll burn. I wanted to so badly reach out, take her hands in mine, and beg for her to wake up. I was currently sitting in my seat, with Greg, Lani, Luca, Autumn's Beta, his wife, my mom, and dad, watching Autumn burn.
Suddenly, the fire started to turn blue, we watched in awe as Autumn bolted up in her bed, wide awake. As she opened her eyes, the fire went out.
