Chapter 1 - Lost In Different Ways Plus A Mate

Autumn's P.O.V.

PICTURE OF AUTUMN ON THE SIDE.

     My name is Autumn, Autumn Axelia. Trust me when I say my life is complete bull crap. When I was 7 years old, my mom died. She was murdered.

     I was huddled into a corner, holding onto my little brother and sister. Oh, I have a little brother and sister. They're both twins. Only thing is that...my little brother is five seconds older. Funny, right? My little brother's name is Luca, Luca Axelia. My little sister's name is Lani, Lani Axelia. Anyways, as I was saying, I was huddled into the corner, holding on to my brother and sister, they were only 5 months old, so they don't remember anything about our mom.

     There were two rogues, one of them was holding a gun to my mother's temple while the other one was pointed at my dad. He was kneeling on the floor just a few feet away from my mother. Every little step he took, the gun went deeper into my mother's head. She was crying, looking straight at us. My mom was my dad's mate and he loved her, a lot. When my mom made a step towards my little brother, little sister, and me, all hell broke out. There were five gun shots. Two of them went into the rogues, killing them. The third one went into my mother...the other two went into my shoulder.

     Let me tell you something, never get shot, it hurts like an effin' bitch. My dad realized that I got shot in the shoulder when I dropped to the floor. The last thing I heard was my dad shouting out to me, telling me to never leave him, wishing this had never happen, before I blacked out.

     Ever since that day, my dad never stayed home anymore. He resigned of being Alpha. He traveled all over the world, leaving me and my brother and sister home, alone. He would come home after 8 months of traveling. The only thing is that, he only stayed home for a maximum of 3 weeks before leaving again. He put all of his feelings in to his job, now my dad is known as the richest man in the world.

     When I turned 11, I changed. I'm no longer my usual self. I don't open to anyone, except my family, and I'm more mature now. Everyone told me how mature I was for my age, but I didn't care. Since my brother wasn't old enough to be Alpha of our pack, I took the Alpha position. It took a total of seven months for my pack to accept me as their Alpha. The reason why it took so long is because I was only 11 years old and I was a girl. I'm the first Alpha to be a girl and to be 11 years old. Yes, there are Luna's, also known as Alpha females, but that's not what I was looking for, I took the role of being Alpha by myself, with no partner, no anything. I have a Beta, but since I know everything, he doesn't do much but remind me of the things to keep my pack's needs in order. Plus, his mate is pregnant, so I let him spend his time with wife or else she'll come complaining to me. His mate, Kayla, is like my second mother. She was close with my mother and she knew everything about her. I loved it when she used to tell me amazing stories of my mother and how she changed my father. Also she would tell me the things my mother used to do with her.

     Did I also mention I'm the strongest Alpha known in the world? Yup. My pack is number one and I'm happy at that. It took a while, but I managed to do it. My pack members say that I was meant for the Alpha role. Did I also mention that I'm also half Guardian? It turns out that I was a reincarnation of this powerful werewolf a long time ago. So basically I have powers. Only two people know this, one of them being my father...second one is my Beta. Not even Luca or Lani know this, which makes me feel guilty since their my brother and sister.

     A Guardian used to exist on Earth when the humans were weak, but as time passed, they disappeared faster than you can say 'Peanut butter and Jelly'. Guardians usually protected the humans from dangerous animals, including werewolves, like us.
