Chapter 7 - Halloween Special
Alex's P.O.V.
PICTURE OF AUTUMN'S SWEATER ON THE SIDE.
It's been weeks since the big fight happened. What I hate the most about these past few weeks? Autumn has been busy with Alpha duties. I only get to see her at school, that's all. I've been out with my friends while she stays at her house, taking care of Lani and Luca, or scouting her land, or Alpha duties. I remember that day when I woke up on the day of the fight.
~~Flashback~~
I was awoken by thunder crackling through the sky. I looked outside the window and saw the sky dark with lightning flashing. I looked over to where my mate was sleeping, to wake her up, but she wasn't here. Instead, there was a note in her spot. I opened the note and began reading.
It read:
Dear Alex,
I'm sorry I had to leave so early. Last night was amazing. Alpha duties came up, but I love you. See you soon.
Love,
Autumn
~~End of flashback~~
I hated how she's always so busy.
Anyways, today was Halloween. I was getting ready for school, today, hopefully, she'll be at school. I was going to ask her what her plans were tonight, hopefully she had no plans, I really wanted to spend some time with her. I was wearing a tight black t-shirt, faded jeans, and white nike's.
As soon as I parked my car, a familiar Mercedes pulled up behind me. I looked in the rear mirror and saw Autumn come out of her car. I smiled and got out of my car. I walked up towards her and smiled.
"Hey baby," I said. She turned around and smiled.
"Hey," she chirped. I couldn't help but check her out. She was wearing this black sweater that had Snoopy on it. He was sitting, eating Candy corn, while in the background was a bunch of pumpkins and his friend, the yellow bird, what was his name again? Anyways, the sweater was a little bit baggy, but it still made her look amazing, it came past her hands a little, so it looked comfortable. She wore light blue skinny jeans, which were tight on her, and white high top nike's. Even with a casual look, she makes it look amazing. When I looked back up at her eyes, I smirked when I saw she was still checking me out. When she looked back up at me, she blushed when she realized I was looking at her.
"You look good," she said. I smiled over at her and pecked her lips.
"So do you, Snoopy," I said, referring to her sweater. She giggled and smacked my chest playfully.
"I love Snoopy. On Christmas, when I was a little kid, my mom, dad, and I would usually watch the Snoopy specials," she said. I looked in her eyes and saw she had a faraway look in them. I smiled and pecked her lips. I made a mental note of that she loved Snoopy. It must've been hard for her to lose her mom, I don't know what I would've done if I lost my mom, even though she can be a bit overprotective at times, I loved her.
I threw my arm around her shoulder and began walking towards the school doors. "You must miss her," I said softly. She looked up at me and nodded.
"A lot. It's not the same without her," she whispered. I stopped walking and pulled her into a hug. I knew she had a few tears that escaped. I knew how she was feeling, since we're fully mated, I could feel her emotions. When she pulled away, she smiled up at me and pecked my lips.
