Chapter 11 - Injured Mate? No Worries...

Chapter 11

Autumn's P.O.V.

     Everything was perfect one minute. The next minute...I turned around and smiled at Alex, but I noticed a looming figure stepping towards him, a rogue. I watched in slow motion as his claws digged into Alex's side and ripped out a chunk of his flesh.

     "ALEX!" I heard myself shouting, but I couldn't move. I was frozen in my spot. I heard screams of children and Luna's, Alpha's all shifted and ran after the rogue. I tore myself away from my father's hold and ran towards Alex's side. Tears were streaming down my cheek as I ran my fingers over his cheek.

     "A-Alex, stay alive, don't leave me..." I whispered. I cloned myself, my clone stayed back to heal Alex as I let my wolf take over and teleport myself to my boundaries. Looks like she knows where to go. I watched as she paced back and forth, growling at the sound of paws that were getting closer and closer, growls soon filling the air. Soon everything came into view. Alpha's were still chasing the one rogue, as soon as the rogue saw me ahead, he stopped dead in his tracks, soon the Alpha's circled around him, growling as he tried to make a dash for it. I knew my eyes were the electric blue where you could see little streams of electricity streaming in them, the golden rim of my eyes, bold and strong, giving my eyes more of a dangerous look. I looked straight into the rogue's eyes and searched his soul. I was listening to each and every thought he had, all of them about finally dying tonight at this very moment.

     'Who are you and how dare you try and to kill my mate?' I seethed, being able to break into his mind link. His eyes widened and looked at me, I growled when he dared to stare me down. He tore his eyes away and stared at the dirt in-front of him.

     'In case you haven't noticed, pathetic Alpha, I'm a rogue and you don't deserve a mate. You deserve to die alone,' sneered the rogue.

     In a blink of an eye, the rogue now laid on the ground, lifeless. I felt a whoosh of air go through me, notifying me that my clone's job was complete and successful. I looked at each and every one of the Alpha's before me, I broke through their mind link and began notifying them.

     'Report back to the house, we'll talk about this later,' I said. The Alpha's eyes went wide but they nodded anyways. One by one, they ran off towards my house, while I just teleported back to the house. Alex was no longer in the main room, but his scent went to one of the guest rooms. I shifted and pulled on a pair of sweatpants and a white t-shirt. I was aware that my wolf still had control of me, I allowed her to, since she was more alert than I was.

     By the time I made it to the main room, my pack members, along with Alex's pack, also with Alpha's, and Luna's, and children stood there before me, watching the shadows carefully. Children's faces looked mortified and scared. Luna's and women looked pale, but were still standing, holding onto their mates. The Alpha's and men looked enraged, obviously thinking the same I'm thinking. One of my guards let out a bark, silencing everyone. Everyone bowed while chanting "Alpha Autumn". I nodded my head in acknowledgement.

     "Alpha's will stay behind tonight to talk about this. I request all pack members of my pack, along with Alpha Balder's pack, with Luna's and their children or family, report back home, be careful on your way home, when you do get home, I also request Luna's to talk to your Beta's to contact each and every one of your pack members to stay home and not go anywhere until everything is clear," I said, using my full Alpha tone. Everyone nodded and bowed again before dismissing. Alpha's soon followed me, after they said their goodbyes to their Luna's and children. I opened the door to the meeting room, where there was a long rectangular table set, along with many chairs tucked under them nicely. Everyone sat down while I stood at the head of the table.
