Chapter 10 - Thanksgiving Special~~

Autumn's P.O.V.

CARNIVAL PRIZE ON THE SIDE.

     Thanksgiving. The day where families come together and celebrate/have a feast. Well, if you didn't notice, my family isn't normal. I decided to invite Alex, his parents, his sister, her mate, and Alex's pack, along with other Alpha's and their family over to celebrate along with my pack. The whole morning, I've been running around like a chicken with its head chopped off. Today was going to be the day where Alex and I make it officially known that we are mates. I made sure everything was in order, since we were having so many people over, we had to cook a-lot of food, make sure the tables are set, but still have enough room on the dance floor for people to dance around, or for the kids to run around and play. I made sure the decorations were up and sturdy, also that the staff was good to go, everything. When I mean everything, I mean everything.

     "Alpha?" asked one of the staff members, getting my attention.

     "Yes?" I asked.

     "Alpha Alex is here to see you," he said before walking away. I looked up at the clock and saw it was only 2:00 pm, he wasn't suppose to be here until 7:30, when the party eventually starts. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I walked out of the party room and in to my office, where Alex was leaning casually on the wall. As soon as he saw me, his face lit up and came over to me.

     He pecked me on the lips before saying, "Get ready, I'm taking you somewhere."

     "Where?" I asked.

     "It's a surprise," he said. I narrowed my eyes slightly before leaving the room, with Alex hot on my heels, and in to my room. I took a short shower, since I already showered this morning, and walked out of my bathroom wrapped in my towel. I didn't mind that Alex was in the room, it's not like he didn't already see me naked before.

     "Here," he said, handing me some clothes. I looked at him suspiciously, all he did was shrug his shoulders before looking around my room.

     Stuff it, I guess I'll drop it for now. I thought to myself before I dropped the towel to the ground and started dressing up.

~~Alex's P.O.V.~~

     I gulped when I heard the towel drop onto the floor. I made sure my eyes looked anywhere but at Autumn, but knowing my eyes, they betrayed me. I watched as the little droplets of water dropped from her hair and ran down her body, teasing me. I watched as they ran down her chest, onto her breasts, and further down. I groaned and covered my eyes, I wasn't here to fuck her, I was here to take her on a date. I heard Autumn giggle, which made me growl at her.

     "Okay, I'm ready," said Autumn after a few minutes later. I uncovered my eyes and took in her outfit that I chose for her. I smirked to myself, I did good. I chose a pair of black skinny jeans, that fit like second skin to her, a white blouse, and a crop denim jean jacket, completed with a pair of Autumn's white nike's.

     "I like it," she said, smiling at me in the reflection of her mirror. I nodded my head in agreement before taking her hand in mine and leading her down the stairs and out the front door.

     "Wait," said Autumn. I stopped walking as soon as Autumn yanked her hand out of mine. She ran towards a random door that I've never been behind.

     "Kayla, can you make sure everything is set for the party while I'm gone?" I heard her ask.

     "Yeah, sure, go on ahead. I'll make sure my husband takes care of it," said a women's voice, Autumn's laughter soon following. Soon, I heard door shut, before I saw Autumn round the corner. She entwined her hand in my hand again before we started to walk towards my car.
