Chapter 8: Visitors Part One

"Hello Tohru Honda. Now you may not know me...but we have been dating for quite some while now, and...Hahaha...I'm being shy when I'm saying this but...we are getting married soon..." A blushing Shigure held a certain scared Tohru and then suddenly...

SMACK

"OUCH! KYO...WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" He rubbed his fragile head and began to groan loudly.

"You were being stupid just now. Plus...you're scaring Tohru see?" Kyo pointed to the poor shaking girl on the bed. She pulled her blankets up close to her face so they wouldn't see her blushing face.

"You're just saying that to hide your jealousy! I'm sorry Tohru...I was just kidding. My name is Shigure Honda, I'm actually your husband."

SMACK

"Ow! Kyo-"

"GET OUT ALREADY." Then Shigure was kicked out of the room and left to rot outside the hallways. He was very upset that he just huddled up by the door and everyone who past him, made very weird faces.

"I'm sorry about that Tohru...He's my cousin and he's supposed to be an adult but...Oh he's also not your husband or your boyfriend or your fiancee. In fact don't listen to anything that perverted old man tells you, Okay?" Kyo scowled at the confused Tohru.

She mumbled, "Okay...so Sohma-san-" Kyo shivered...he'd never been called with such unfamiliar greeting from Tohru. They were such close friends and so they called each other by first name. But here they are...so distant and faraway from each other's reach. This was too much to take. "Where's my grandpa...?"

"Huh..." He swallowed hard and coughed, "You see that...you are living with us now...and your grandpa is has just been sharing a house with your relatives from your dad's side." Kyo sighed...he didn't want to remind her of her sad tragic memories. The ones that she could clearly remember for the rest of her life, the ones she'd never forget. It made him sad to think that the memories he shared with her...are so easily forgotten.

"Sohma-san...can I ask you a question?"

"Uhuh...you don't have to call me by Sohma. Kyo is fine."

"Uh...Kyo-san. How come I'm in the hospital right now?" Kyo flinched at that and it made him recall about what he'd wanted to ask her as soon as she woke up from her coma. It was the question of why she jumped that cliff.

"Uh...you fell off a cliff. Someone pushed you." He lied. He didn't want to remind her of something so painful as attempting to commit suicide, and much less...to have ended up alive with no memory of why she wanted to do it. He didn't want to know the reason either. It would make him in much more pain than before.

"Oh...and one more thing...Who are you to me?" Kyo stopped. He wondered just what he was to her. He didn't know himself...and much less he didn't know if Tohru actually cared for him...for all he knew, it could have been pity the whole time that she felt for him.

For all his life...he'd been raises as an outcast, a monster, and as a disgrace to life. For all his life...he has been hated by all. No once cared for him...except Kyoko Honda. She was the only one who actually dared to stay near him, who teased him and touched him. In fact she looked forward to seeing him the next day and the next.

But Kyo's always been selfish about caring only about himself. He only protected himself. In the end, it was his selfishness that was the cause of her death. Here he is now...telling himself...no admiting to himself that the times he spent with Tohru...were indeed the best he's ever experienced. He's a monster...and he's been told not to become happy and discover love. But...he couldn't help it.

A certain brunette...with bows in her hair...came to him. She was like some kind of bee who came for it's flower to make honey. She never really cared about him being cursed, and much less becoming a monster if he didn't wear his beads. It truly did feel as though she cared for him. Tohru acted as the best role modeled mother. Her tenderness became not just Kyo's but all of the Sohma's greatest support. They got past all of their tragic stories and it only became a distant memory to them. They were reminded of what true love was from Tohru. They were reminded of what a family should be like...

"How would I know what I am to you?" Kyo chuckled sadly. He looked up and saw her sad face. He face-palmed himself, "That's not what I meant-"

"Kyo-san..."

"I don't like it when people say san. Just say Kyo..."

"Kyo-kun...I don't know why...but my chest feels all warm whenever your here. I don't know what it means...but it must mean that your a very important person to me. I heard from the doctor that I lost some of my memories and that I even forgot about my personality. I hope that I can remember you soon..." Her face looked even sadder than before...much paler and it seemed to look blue.

"Tohru..." He walked closer to her and sat in the same chair he'd been sitting in for that past couple hours. He held her hand and held his cheek against it. "Yeah...me too. I hope you remember soon."

"Aww...poor Kyo. Tohru can't remember him and now he's depressed. I bet he thought that when she'd wake up she'd remember him and only him." Ayame squealed in delight.

"Shhhhh....ayame. He's going to hear you." Shigure giggled along side him. They were all huddling outside the door and they opened it sightly to see what was going on inside the room with the two alone.

"Why is Kyo holding my Tohru's hand? Someone should tell him that he's too close to her!" Momiji yelled with a whisper.

"Momiji. You should just let Kyo have his moment." Hatsuharu said with a derp face 0_0. "And...the nurse said that only one of us could stay with Honda-san. We didn't have a choice since Kyo was all like 'you guys are all perverts and can't be trusted so I should do it'"

"I am not a pervert!" Momiji shouted and everyone around them heard. A bunch of old ladies came running towards him and pinched his cheeks

"Of course you're not! You're soo cute that I could just die!" They squealed like little girls. It was no use...Momiji was caught in a swarm.

"I told you to just let Kyo have his moment..." 0_0 Haru said. "This is Karma Momiji. Plus you'll just have to wait because tomorrow is for visitor's.

"Hmph! Fine..."
