I swear the moment I will find out what she was plotting behind my back, I will show her her worst nightmare.

And will lay that motherfucking Father of hers on his grave.

They shall receive the devilish torment for double crossing me; if they dared to do it.

"I am amazed they even dared to go against you; the Plague Doctor." De Villiers snickered, patting my back while I glared at him to shut his mouth.

"She wouldn't dare." I mumbled, putting my chin over my palm.

"But what about others?" Amanda asked, smirking at my furious reaction.

"I am curious about one thing, Boss." De Villiers asked, finally composing his posture.

"What?" I asked, arching a brow.

"Why are you worked up over a trivial matter?" He asked, the look of jest on his face was lucid.

"Ending their whole lineage wouldn't be a bother for you too,"

He said the fact where I deliberately turned ignorant.

"And if you are fond of that woman, enslaving her wouldn't be a hurdle."

Amanda added, the gazes upon me were challenging but it was nothing but a nuisance.

They were doubtful.

Leaning back, I closed my eyes, "Some possessions don't belong to the dungeons." I replied after an extensive silence, closing my eyes.

Stealing my capabilities and prey while I could do it was to seal my lips. For now.

Patience.
I needed that, lots of it.

Still, in a corner of my heart, I questioned- 'Why do you feel so near yet so far? When we have just met, then why do I feel an ancient connection?'

"Ah my, Boss... If you have grown up with that woman, that doesn't mean you should spare her mercy; you know that, don't you?" Amanda sneered.

Sitting on the armrest of my chair, putting her hand over my shoulder to help me loosen my mind but things weren't like before where I could use her body for my relief.

"Amanda is right, Boss. Why fleeting attraction for something which is one step closer to demise?" He asked, chuckling a little but I just removed her hand from my shoulder and raised it from my seat.

"You wouldn't understand." I sighed, putting my hands in my pocket, looking out of the window.

"That woman is my darkest desire."

"I know that much. I know it better than anyone."

De Villiers' smirk grew atrocious knowing what I had done for her.

"And you know about those eyes too but won't open your fucking mouth either, hmm?" I scoffed.

"It's for your own good. The far you can go from them, the better." He shrugged.

"What do you mean?" Amanda asked in perplexity but I remained silent.

"Leave." I ordered her.

My eyes affixed outside, the twinkle of my heart arousing ache I yearn for.

After she left, De Villiers said again, "Why such passion for someone you planned to enslave?" He asked, unable to apprehend my intentions.

With a sinister smirk, I turned to him, "De Villiers, that woman is already chained to my domain."
