"Sada suhagan reh" dadi blessed Tai ji giving her sargi. Finally, today is Karwa Chauth and we gathered in dining room for sargi ritual at five in the morning.
Dadi took another plate from table and gave to Maa but when she touched her feet, Dadi didn't bless her. This is so rude. She is not in any fault still she is suffering. Dadi should understand this. Maa didn't say anything and with small smile took everything she gave.
"Niraali, Nikita... come here" Tai ji called Bhabhi for sargi. All the gents of house were sleeping but we have to wake up early so here we are properly dressed in winter morning. She blessed them both. She is strict no doubt even more than Dadi. Both Bhabhi have severe fear of their mother-in-law.
"Nandini come bacha" Maa called me and I went to her. she gave a plate filled with meethi seviyan, fruits, coconut, meethi mathri, dry fruits, mathri, sweets and juice. Another thaal maa gave me with so many things like sindoor, bindi, a red chunri and a jewelry box.
"Others didn't get this?" I confusingly asked looking at that other thaal.
"Because this is your first Karwa Chauth so according to some rituals I need to give this and make sure you use them at night while getting ready" Maa explained me and I nodded. I bent to touch her feet but like always she didn't let me and hugged instead.
"Give me too" we heard Manik saying. We all looked in voice direction. There he was coming folding his sleeves of red kurta till elbows and hair neatly combed. We were twinning unknowingly and unplanned. I was in red saree with sleeveless blouse which didn't get right because I am felling too cold in this. He came in red kurta thread embroidery on it.
