Fifteen days back when I get back to India and I never in my wildest dream thought to marry this soon. Though I wanted to have a beautiful marriage life like my parents, like my sibling but not this early.
Dad burst a bomb on my head at airport and here I am sitting in Mandap waiting for my bride.
I just had my breakdown before coming here. I don't know whether I'll be a good husband or not I don't know whether I meet her expectations and I seriously don't know how long will this marriage survive. I don't believe in arrange marriage I never saw in my life. Parents having love marriage, grand parents had a fairytale love marriage and my sister is living her love life but I am here ready for an arrange marriage.
I know her but still she is stranger to me. I know what makes her happy in these fifteen days, she is not demanding and she gets happiness in smallest things but still what if I turn out to be a disaster being a husband.
"Kanya ko bulaye" Didu sitting beside me held my hand and squeezed blinking her eyes to assure me but the inner battle is beyond imagination.
She came with her cousins and Rishabh in a bridal dress. A girl I met fifteen days ago to whom I met to reject but ended up falling but falling and marrying and more over it surviving in a marriage is a whole different thing.
But she stopped on last stair looking at me with smile. I gave a confusing look. I don't know what she wants? Dose she wants to back off? is she really not ready for this marriage yet?
